Each side has a projection width on the substrate of at least about 1 μm.

isp

Display Panel

A display panel is disclosed, which includes: a first substrate; a first metal line disposed above the first substrate and having a first surface and a first side, wherein the first side connects to the first surface, and the first side has a concave shape; and a sealant unit in contact with the first metal line, wherein the first metal line includes a first metal layer, a second metal layer and a third metal layer, the second metal layer locates between the first metal layer and the third metal layer, the sealant covers at least a portion of the first metal layer, and a part of the sealant locates between the first metal layer and the third metal layer.

isp

DISPLAY APPARATUS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A display apparatus including a substrate; a display unit disposed on the substrate; a sealing layer disposed on the display unit; a touch screen layer disposed on the sealing layer; and a buffer layer disposed between the sealing layer and the touch screen layer. The sealing layer includes n sealing units each including an organic layer and an inorganic layer, in which n is an integer of 1 or greater. The organic layer and the inorganic layer are sequentially stacked on the display unit. The organic layer includes a cured product for forming an organic layer including a first photocurable monomer. The buffer layer includes a cured product for forming a buffer layer including a second and third photocurable monomer. The first and second photocurable monomers include a photocurable functional group. The third photocurable monomer is represented by Formulae 1A to 1C.

isp

DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A DISPLAY DEVICE

A display device, which includes a display region constituted by a plurality of pixels, includes a first substrate having a hygroscopic agent formed in a peripheral region outside the display region and a sealing film covering the hygroscopic agent, a second substrate disposed facing the first substrate, and an adhesive layer, at least a portion of which is disposed closer to the side of the display region than the hygroscopic agent, and which bonds the first substrate to the second substrate.

Gareth Coker Scores Ori's Next Adventure In 'Will Of The Wisps'

Ori and the Will of the Wisps by Moon Studios continues the adventure begun with the beloved Ori and the Blind Forest. Will of the Wisps takes Ori on an emotional journey as he searches for his new friend, Ku. Gareth Coker, who also scored Blind Forest , told me that writing the score for Will of the Wisps gave him plenty of fresh ideas because of all of the new characters in the game. Gareth was part of development of Will of the Wisps since the game's beginning, which gave him plenty of time to finetune themes for each of the new characters. Gareth worked with some outstanding musicians, including Kristin Naigus, who plays 21 different wind instruments on the score, and vocalist Aeralie Brighton, whose voice was so memorable in Ori and the Blind Forest. The digital release of Gareth's soundtrack is over three hours long, and follows the story arc of the game. A vinyl release by IAM8Bit is planned as well, and because LPs hold fewer minutes of music, Gareth describes it as "composer's

Perspective: Disparities By Design

The COVID-19 pandemic is a situation most Americans alive today have not experienced. It’s challenged our American freedoms ranging from how we worship, work, educate, congregate, socialize, shop, vacation, and grieve. As a nation we take pride in our capitalistic economic system. Over the last several weeks we’ve witnessed 401K’s lose value, the stock market crash, along with historic joblessness and unemployment applications. I applaud both sides of the aisle for getting the stimulus package out, which includes the CARES act. But it’s not enough. The long-term effects of this pandemic will be far reaching. As states share their data on new cases and death related to COVID-19; the reality of American racism is being exposed again. According to the Surgeon General, African-Americans comprise 35.7% of confirmed cases and 53.2% of deaths despite only representing 27% of the US population. The US Census Bureau states the white population of Chicago, IL is 49%, and 30% African-American. As

The red line: Racial disparities in lending

It’s been 10 years since the great housing bust and lending is back. Not everyone is getting a fair shot at getting a loan. In dozens of cities across the country, lenders are more likely to deny loans to applicants of color than white ones – even when you take into account how much money they make and how much they want to borrow.

This type of housing discrimination was outlawed 50 years ago but it’s making a comeback. On this episode of Reveal, we dig into the new redlining.

This episode features an interactive text-messaging tool that allows you to learn more about who gets conventional home loans where you live. To get started, text HOME to 202-873-8325.

School Bus Driver: I Lost My Job Over The Dispatch Radio

Angelita Wynn has driven a school bus for six years. Wynn was driving the kids back home on her afternoon run in Pittsburgh one day in March when she got word her job was going away. Over the radio. "Our dispatcher came across the radio saying that school was closed, so that's how I found out," Wynn said. "And that's the last time I've been in the bus." Her favorite thing about her job was the sense of freedom it offered, where driving can get you from one place to another. Her least favorite thing: It didn't pay a living wage. Wynn notes that most school bus drivers are retired or married to someone who brings in another income. "If you don't fit in those categories it can be a struggle," she said. She typically collects unemployment during the summer when school is not in session. But the abrupt layoff this spring and a weeks-long delay in getting her jobless benefits has thrown her for a loop. "My bank account is in the negative," Wynn said. "I've had to rely on savings that will
