There is provided a resin cage of a tapered roller bearing. The cage includes a small diameter annular portion, a large diameter annular portion, and a plurality of bar portions arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction to connect the annular portions. The bar portion has a pair of circumferentially-directed side surfaces, each having a roller guide surface, and an inner-side inner peripheral surface, a circumferential width of which is smaller on a side of the large diameter annular portion than on a side of the small diameter annular portion, and has a roller retaining region in which a radially outer side pocket width and a radially inner side pocket width between the opposed circumferentially-directed side surfaces of the adjacent bar portions are smaller than a diameter of the roller.

The present invention discloses a tape substrate for chip on film structure of a liquid crystal panel. The tape substrate is provided with plural package units of chip on film structures arranged along its longitudinal direction, and the package unit has a driver chip, input leads and output leads. The longitudinal direction of the driver chip is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tape substrate, and the input leads and the output leads are located at the two opposite sides of the driver chip. Each package unit is set up with a short side and a long side, and the input leads are formed at the short side, while the output leads are formed at the long side. In the package units adjacent to each other, the short side of one package unit joins the long side of a next package unit. This invention further discloses a liquid crystal panel having the tape substrate.

A bag 1 with a reclosable tape includes a reclosable tape 20 having a male fastener part 21 and a female fastener part 22 attached to one inner surface of a bag body 10, a cut tape 23 provided between mounting base parts 212 and 222 of those fastener parts, and an easily unsealable structure 50 formed on the mounting base part 212 adjacent to the cut tape 23 in an unsealing start part 30 of a side seal part 60 of the bag body. The easily unsealable structure 50 may be formed by: forming a hole portion 50a or a portion formed by a weak line on the mounting base part 212, arranging a thickness of the mounting base part 212 in the unsealing start part 30 so as to be thinner than other portions, or forming a non-adhesive part between the mounting base part 212 and the cut tape 23.

A tape dispenser includes a hollow body and a blade unit. The body has a frame, a blade seat and an opening. A reception portion is formed between the body and the frame so as to accommodate the tape. The opening communicates with inside of the body and the blade unit is located in the blade seat. The blade unit has a blade for cutting the tape.

A desktop dispenser includes a stationary base including a bottom member defining a bottom open chamber, a vacuum mount including a suction disc positioned in the bottom open chamber and an actuation rod extended from the top wall of the suction disc, and a carrier coupled to the stationary base and biasable between a first position and a second position. When the carrier is in the first position, the actuation rod of the vacuum mount is in an initial position; when the carrier is in the second position, the driving member lifts the actuation rod of the vacuum mount to an acting position. Thus, the desktop tape dispenser can be adhered to the top of a desk.

The present invention relates to a tape guiding mechanism (10) of a tape device (100). The tape device (100) comprises a strip of tape (20) having supply tape (22) and take up tape (24); a spool portion (130); a supply spool (40) disposed at the spool portion (130) for winding the supply tape (22); a take up spool (50) disposed at the spool portion (130) for winding the take up tape (24); an application tip (12); and a spool mechanism (70) for allowing the supply and the take up spools (40 & 50) to rotate such that the tape travels from the supply spool (40), around the applicator tip (120), and to the take up spool (50).

A tape feeder includes a guide part that guides a carrier tape and is detachably attached to a main body. A tape feeder includes a guide part that guides a carrier tape and is detachably attached to a main body. The guide part includes: a lower member guiding the carrier tape and attached to and detached from the main body; an upper member pressing down the carrier tape from above; a tape introduction part guiding the carrier tape into the upper member at an upstream side thereof in a tape feed direction; a confirmation opening part disposed in the upper member for visually confirming that the carrier tape arrives at a pin engagement range; an open/close mechanism opening and closing the upper member with respect to the lower member; and a positioning mechanism fitting a positioning pin into a feed hole of the carrier tape in the guide part, thereby positioning the carrier tape relative to the guide part in the tape feed direction.

In the separation of a cover tape 15e from a carrier tape 15 performed by a cover tape separating mechanism 50, a cover tape 15e, which is separated from a base tape 15a by a separating blade edge 51f, comes into contact with a concave conical surface 52c, so that one side portion of a cover tape 15e is bent toward the other side portion; and the bent cover tape 15e is pressed against a guide surface 32s from below while the carrier tape 15 is guided to a pick-up position. Accordingly, the cover tape 15e is folded on the base tape 15a in a flat shape.

A SMT tape includes a carrier tape, a number of separation pads, a number of workpieces, and a package tape. The carrier tape includes a package surface and defines a number of receiving grooves in the package surface and arranged along a length direction of the carrier tape. The separation pads are received in the receiving grooves and fixed to bottom surfaces of the receiving grooves respectively. Each separation pad includes a separation surface opposite to a bottom surface of the corresponding receiving groove and a number of protrusions protruding up from the separation surface. The workpieces are respectively received in the receiving grooves. Each workpiece includes a main body and an adhesive layer positioned between the corresponding separation pad and the main body. The package tape is adhered to the package surface and seals the receiving grooves.

A process for manufacturing surgical needles from solid, cylindrical needle blanks. A plurality of needle blanks are cut from a roll of wire and mounted to a flat carrier strip. The carrier strip then indexes each needle blank to a grinding station where an orbital grinding means grinds the distal end of each needle blank into a taper point while the needle blanks are held fixed in the carrier strip.

A taper point surgical needle having improved needle point strength is disclosed. In one embodiment of the needle, a tip portion includes first and second integral tapered regions having first and second cross-sectional areas respectively which decrease progressively toward the tip of the needle in accordance with first and second angles of inclination respectively, with the first angle being greater than the second angle. In another embodiment of the needle of the present invention, the tip portion includes a third tapered region integral with the second tapered region and having a cross-sectional area which decreases progressively toward the needle tip in accordance with a third angle of inclination which is smaller than the second angle.

A form tie for use in constructing building components and structures, including but not limited to concrete walls, concrete sandwich walls, and concrete foundations is disclosed. The form tie includes a central body portion and two end portions. The two end portions each include a taper that decreases in width inwardly toward the center of the form tie. Also disclosed is a clamp device for releasably securing the form tie to a form assembly. The clamp device includes a tapered passageway that grips a taper of the end portions of the disclosed form tie. Also disclosed is a form assembly including a first form wall, second form wall, and at least one form tie and clamp device of the present invention.

The first sensor is configured for measuring at least one of force, torque, and distance feedback. Also provided are systems and methods for forming a looped suture including an active anvil assembly.

Disclosed is a rule assembly having a housing, a reel rotatably mounted in the housing, an elongated blade wound on the reel and extendable through an opening in the housing, and a permanent end hook member attached to the elongated blade with a first hook portion. The rule assembly further has another or second end hook member that is removably attachable to the elongated blade with a second hook portion. Each of the permanent end hook member and second end hook member are capable of limited movement relative to the blade between an extended position and a retracted position. The second hook portion can extend in a direction opposite to that of the first hook portion. A forward surface of the second hook portion can be aligned with a forward surface of the first hook portion to form a larger surface area for engagement with a workpiece.

Recognizing the author’s name led me to “Hidden Tapestry” by Debra Dean . Her debut historical novel, “The Madonnas of Leningrad,” is one of my favorite WW II novels. “Hidden Tapestry: Jan Yoors, His Two Wives, and the War That Made Them One” was like no other book I’ve ever read. It’s a historical biography, but it reads like an unbelievable novel. It’s the biography of Flemish-American artist Jan Yoors, who was known for his giant tapestries. Yoors was born to a family of Flemish artists in 1922. He grew up in a bohemian liberal home with a deeply engrained cultural respect for art. Throughout his childhood his parents accepted his departures every summer to live among the Gypsies, or Romas. He developed deep admiration for this unique group of people, and many years later, he wrote a memoir about his time living with them. His award-winning 1965 book, “The Gypsies,” was hugely popular.
