Forgive me for the following display of ignorance.

I'm looking for someone to develop a simple and attractive static website. I'm agnostic about the development framework. The functionality needed would be a simple landing page that functions as about/contact and a page that would act as a form where users could upload a file (~25MB .wav). The files would be automatically uploaded to Dropbox or Google Drive, etc. (whatever is easiest). I have no visual assets (logos, images, etc.). I have some examples of design I have in mind as models (Jekyll pages, etc.) that I can share with you.

I have never hired anyone for a project of this kind, so I don't know what common practice is re: contract pay, but I have a soft budget of ~1,000USD.

I don't yet have a domain registered anywhere.

After two and a half years of work -- recording and editing some 300 hours of audio with dozens of actors -- I have started releasing the second season of my audio drama. Nineteen episodes (including a forthcoming seven part epic set between 1994 and 2023), 120 speaking roles, and I wrote nearly a thousand pages. The series involves parallel universes, wisecracking demons, revolutionaries, exuberant aliens fond of American nostalgia, and, above all, an examination of love and empathy.

Biography

Journee is a 21 year old singer, songwriter, and model from San Jose, CA and is one of 5 brothers and sisters. She’s currently in college at UC Riverside and has immersed herself onto the LA music scene, perfecting her craft, and frequently collaborating with creatives making her one of the most exciting new acts from the region. Her single “This and That” was recently added to the Emerging R&B Playlist on Sound Cloud where out of 55 records she has the 6th most streams overall trailing only major artists.
