Digitally driven cold chains: How to upgrade your temperature tracking

By Mary Heiser, Director, Industry & Product Marketing, FourKites.

In today’s intricate food and beverage supply chains, ensuring product quality from farm to fork is paramount. One of the most crucial factors determining the integrity of perishable products is temperature. As any supply chain professional knows, even a slight temperature deviation can mean the difference between delivering a delicious ice cream cone or a disappointing puddle.

Biden to nominate Christy Goldsmith Romero as FDIC chair after abrupt departure of predecessor

President Joe Biden will nominate Christy Goldsmith Romero to replace Martin Gruenberg as head of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The announcement from the White House Thursday came after Gruenberg’s tenure became marred by allegations of workplace abuse that led to him to resign. Goldsmith Romero is currently a commissioner at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the nation’s financial derivatives regulator. Gruenberg last month said he would resign from the FDIC after an independent report by a law firm found incidents of stalking, harassment, homophobia and other violations of employment regulations, based on more than 500 complaints from employees.

The Internet’s Two Bodies: Understanding the Multistakeholder Reign

The reports of multistakeholder Internet governance's demise are greatly exaggerated. This article explores the dual nature of multistakeholderism: its evolving, sometimes contentious practice as the "First Body," and its enduring principle of actor plurality as the "Second Body." Despite criticism and challenges, multistakeholderism remains crucial for a resilient, non-state-led Internet, underscoring the need to adapt and uphold its foundational pluralism.

Why We Need to Discard the Word “Multistakeholder”

A CircleID post by Alexander Klimburg takes aim at my article, "The Power to Govern Ourselves," delivered at the Gig-Arts conference in June. That speech, available here on the blog, argued that: "Multistakeholder does not describe a governance model. It never has. It was always a compromised Public Relations concept," one that muddied the distinction between governance by state actors and non-state actors. What really made the Internet institutions unique was their break with sovereignty.

Folder sorting order in Shared Mailbox changes back randomly

We’ve got several subfolders for the Inbox in a Shared Mailbox which we want to sort in such a way that the most frequently folders are at the top. The rest can remain ordered alphabetically.

We have no issues changing the sorting order at first. However, the sorting order seems to randomly get reset again and the folders end up in their original location.

We’ve tried renaming the folders with special prefixes as well, but that ended up in an even bigger mess.

Is there really no way to manually sort the folders of a Shared Mailbox and make them stay in their location?

Which obviously wouldn't go anywhere ever. Poop. So now it's gone and I'm restarting my blog. I looked around for some OG bloggers from the 90s and early 2000s. And found..... only Kottke???
