inc How to create app specific talkback label files for sharing on inclusive android By www.inclusiveandroid.com Published On :: Sun, 03 Jul 2016 04:01:51 +0000 Introduction The world may not be quite ready for this tutorial, but I am pretty excited and can't wait to share it with you. Android talkback's export graphics feature doesn't officially support exporting graphic labels for a specific program; however, you can make this happen using a simple text editor. I'm going to show you how to accomplish this, so that inclusive android users can upload graphic labels for specific programs that anyone can download and use. . To learn the basics of labeling, exporting and importing graphics, please see: How to label Graphics by Erik Burggraaf How to label graphics audio tutorial by Erik Burggraaf Labeling unlabeled buttons using talkback by Warren Carr Importing custom labels into talkback by Warren Carr Examining a talkback labels file From a writing point of view, this is the challenging part. I want to give you enough information to make you feel confident that you can do this, but not so much that you feel overwhelmed. Let's assume that you have successfully exported a talkback labels file according to the tutorials listed above. Now you have a file called Talkback_custom_labels_MMDDYYYY.tbl. MMDDYYYY refers to the date that your talkback labels were exported of course. This is a standard text file that contains some programming code. To edit the file, you can open it in any text editor such as notepad or text edit. Now you are going to examine and edit that file. In doing so, please remember that each line is separate and distinct, and disarranging the lines will cause the file not to work properly. Make sure that your text editor preserves the line breaks as in the original. The first line of the file reads like this: {"labels_array": The left brace opens the function that is based on this array. Then you have "labels_array" in quotes. This shows you that a variable of type array called labels is being created. An array is a type of programming variable that stores a lot of other variables and their types and values for easy use. After the closing quote there' is a colon which signifies that a list is coming. This line needs to be preserved in tact. The second line of the file reads something like this: [{"package_name":"com.c51","package_signature":"0cc8cabd00f51f7d13f8bf21f2e7a96eaf69d520","view_name":"icon","label_text":"toggle star","locale":"en","package_version":30,"timestamp":1467083805861}, This is a collection of variables and their values. It tells talkback which label belongs to which program. In this case, you can see that my label is for the program checkout 51, and that I assigned the text "toggle star", to that particular label. Notice that the line begins with a left bracket. The left bracket designates the start of the list of variables in your array. So, the second line of your file must open with this left bracket. Finally, the line ends with a right brace and a comma. The right brace closes that entry in the array, and the comma tells us that there is another entry coming up in the array that we should look for. Of course, the text in between the braces on the second line will be different depending on the label you set up. Now, jump to the very bottom of your talkback labels file and look at the very end of the very last line. The final three characters are: right brace, right bracket and right brace. The first right brace closes the final set of variables. Normally after this we would have a comma, but since this is the final set, we don't need the comma. The right bracket closes the left bracket that we used to begin the second line. it tells the program that our array is closed. The final right brace closes the left brace that is the first character on line one and tells the program to close the function for this array. Creating your program specific labels file You can have as many labels for as many programs as you want' however, we want to separate out the labels for one particular program so that we can share it with other users interested in that program. To begin, make a new text file. Copy the top line of your talkback labels file and press enter. Type a left bracket as shown above. Identify all of the labels associated with a particular program, copy them from your original talkback labels file and paste them, making sure that everything between each set of braces is on one line with no hard returns. Finally, make sure that there is no comma after the final brace and add a right bracket and a right brace. Save your new text file under the name of your program with an extension of .tbl, and you have a program specific graphics label file Look for the graphic files upload feature. inc 4 terrorists, including high value target, killed in Kech operation: ISPR By www.dawn.com Published On :: Wed, 13 Nov 2024 21:42:00 +0500 Security forces killed four terrorists, including a “high-value target”, during an exchange of fire in Balochistan’s Kech district, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday. According to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general Balgatar area of Kech District on the “reported presence of terrorists”. “During [the] conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange between own troops and the terrorists, four terrorists including a high-value target, terrorist ring leader Sana [alias] Baru were killed,” the statement said. It added that the killed terrorist was a focal recruitment agent, “especially suicide bombers, for the so-called Majeed Brigade in District Kech and was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies.” A sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan’s security forces “remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the statement said. The country has lately witnessed a sharp uptick in the number of attacks targeting security forces, other law enforcement agencies, and security checkpoints, particularly in Balochistan and KP. Attacks escalated after the TTP broke a fragile ceasefire agreement with the government in 2022 and vowed to target security forces. Last Sunday, security forces killed 10 terrorists and injured eight others during three different engagements in North Waziristan. On Nov 7, security forces killed five terrorists during an exchange of fire in South Waziristan, while four soldiers were martyred in the operation. In another incident on Nov 4, security forces killed seven terrorists in separate operations, with one terrorist killed in Balochistan and the other six killed during two operations in KP. Likewise, on November 2, four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in KP’s South Waziristan region. Full Article Pakistan

Depending on the phase of development of a company (often couched as Stage 0 [Ad-Hoc], Stage 1 [Functional], Stage 2 [Intrabusiness Cross-Functional], etc. maturity levels by a consulting firm), the next higher-level of metrics and reporting may apply and be a goal for the client organization to strive for.Where management has to be somewhat careful about applying metrics, however, is how people and company culture play a role in getting everything to work together right. To put a finer point on things, one can put in place a perfectly appropriate set of metrics and reporting systems for a company yet miss the boat completely on a management-level as to how the results should be applied because of the culture. As an example in sales operations, I have frequently seen a competitive environment laid out. People's individual performance levels are exposed, and poor performing people are weeded out. This environment can work out in some cases. On the other hand, in a collaborative engineering or product development environment, cooperation may be encouraged. On a related topic, a friend of my wife and I, Dr. Uri Gneezy at the University of Chicago, has some great research on the relationship between competition and gender. From the research summary:Gneezy suggests that CEOs creating incentives in their firms should be aware that making the internal environment more competitive might create a bias that helps men, while putting women at a relative disadvantage. My take on applying this type of research would be to recognize and raise one's sense of awareness to the environment one is implementing metrics in. Although metrics may be encouraged to be tracked to an individual-level doesn't automatically equate to that the environment has to be a competitive one. Choosing a collaborative versus dictatorial management style that is compatible with the desired company culture is a separate choice from metric implementation. inc All in 'The Family' is this politics or a cult? - First and foremost, this is not a conspiracy theory, nor a conspiracy in reality - What it is, is a horrible use of the gospel - something that men have been doing since it was first laid down - It By thechurchofjesuschrist.us Published On :: As I was watching some news last night, I saw this story on the Rachel Maddow show - and frankly, it's a bit creepy. I usually stop watching news by that late hour - else the children run screaming from the information overload. It concerns The Family, founded by Nazi-sympathizer, Abraham Vereide. As I was watching, I was figuring - 70 years ago? Um, right around the time all this gooblygook with William Branham started and the Manifest Sons of God. Actually, it is quite possible that these two crossed paths. (You may also want to check out this site as well.) -- Remember, these men who live in this house, all powerful, must surrender to being shepherded by another - and consider themselves 'chosen.' In other words, they may do as they choose for they are chosen for greatness in God, and will receive forgiveness. -- Note, from the above article: "At the 1990 National Prayer Breakfast, George H.W. Bush praised Doug Coe for what he described as "quiet diplomacy, I wouldn't say secret diplomacy," as an "ambassador of faith." Coe has visited nearly every world capital, often with congressmen at his side, "making friends" and inviting them back to the Family's unofficial headquarters, a mansion (just down the road from Ivanwald) that the Family bought in 1978 with $1.5 million donated by, among others, Tom Phillips, then the C.E.O. of arms manufacturer Raytheon, and Ken Olsen, the founder and president of Digital Equipment Corporation." -- One of the things that we must endeavor to do, is to make sure that we do not come off sounding like conspiracy theories. I detest them - they destroy when we should build up. They weaken us, because rarely ever are they true. First and foremost, this is not a conspiracy theory, nor a conspiracy in reality. What it is, is a horrible use of the gospel - something that men have been doing since it was first laid down. It takes the message of Christ and turns it into something political, something disgusting, something human. -- Instead of calling to sin, these people think themselves above the mercy of Christ. If we are chosen, then we are chosen to repentance. -- While the connection here between Ensign and Sandford will go unnoticed, it is well remembered that the Dominionists have stated time and time again that they seek to bring about a government of [Anti] Christ built on seven interconnected mountains - one of them being politics. Where else to start but politicians. Full Article Christian Church History Study 4. 1881 A.D. to Present (2012) - Corrupt modern bible translations and compromised Seminaries and Universities
inc Pagan Christianity (by Frank Viola and George Barna) Reviewed - Like most reformers, Viola manages to express some valid issues that need attention - He well states the clergy-laity distinction - He is clear about the disastrous domination of clergymen, t By www.bible.ca Published On :: I understand the "excessive and pathological dependence on the clergy," but I'm not willing to classify all preaching within that condemnation. (This is the same old stuff - human abuse is cited as the reason to cast out something legitimate when used properly.) When we tell people what the Word of God says and challenge the right response, there is no excess or pathology in that! Let's expose and condemn the real problem, without throwing out the legitimate. -- And I'm wondering about something. Frank Viola has written a book. What is it that lifts his book out of the condemned category? What if someone read his book to a group of people (he does affirm his book to be needed truth)? Would the reading of his book stifle spiritual health and create a pathological dependence on his writings or books in general? Nonsense. -- Don't overlook, Viola is a high school teacher. When he speaks to a class in a building with attention focused on him, does he consider that to be an exercise that is passive, tradition bound and pagan? Likewise, he "speaks at church-life conferences!" Apparently the kind of speaking he does he values in some way. Yet he reacts with outrage when someone stands before an audience and directs their attention to the text of Scripture in an orderly form without interruption. This is the excess and decoration of a militant reformer, who is in bondage to his system while attacking another. It is gimmickry and passion born in the contention of a reformers narrow mentality, not based on the content of Scripture. -- Behind the charm and sophistry of these reformers there is an arrogant spirit. Mr. Viola wants us to know that "the NT is not a manual for church practice." Yet, he wants us to be led by "the light that is within you!" When all of that has been said, the footnote on the last page of the book is truly the bottom line. He says in this small print entry: "If you plan to leave the institutional church, I strongly recommend that you read the next volume in this series: So You Want To Start A House Church? First-Century Styled Church Planting For Today. It will give you the next step." -- Unbelievable! He steers us away from the New Testament, then recommends his next book as our next step. Now here is my recommendation. Don't let any man dictate "the next step." Not Viola, Berkley or any man. Open the Bible. Read what it says, and let God direct your steps (Psa. 37:23; 119:133). --- Good Recently Published Resources To Study The House Church Movement: "The House Church Movement," Harry Osborne; in The Renewing Of Your Mind, 2004 Truth Magazine Lectures, GOT Foundation, 2004.
