3 Steps To Creating A Killer Small Business Content Marketing Strategy

Small businesses generally face harsher circumstances when it comes to planning and launching a marketing campaign. They have less revenue and capital, which means they’re more limited in the strategies they can pursue. They have fewer resources, which means their teams are smaller and less experienced. And they generally have less data and first-hand experience with which to strategize in the first place.

One of the best marketing strategies for small businesses is content marketing, due to its approachability and affordability, but creating a content marketing strategy can still be an intensive and intimidating process.

The Honeymoon Killers

This Belgian band accompanied me on an unhurried drive over the wiggly, downhill roads that split La Cañada and Pasadena the other day, and it reminded me I've been meaning to write something about them for some time.

A rather unusual group, formed in the early 70s, with an energy and humor that's reminiscent of the Rezillos', which is to say the blitzkrieg punk of the moment chopped up with various retro throwbacks. In the case of the Killers, it's more chanson and free jazz than rockabilly and Detroit garage, but both share a colorful zaniness.

In 1980, Véronique Vincent joined, and her presence brought a calm and elegance to the bracing, biting punch that defined them. They managed to get a few records out, including an album that's a real zippy and zesty delight, then broke up in '85. However, they did record another LP, which they eventually finished in 2014. Credited to Véronique Vincent & Aksak Maboul (Aksak Maboul being a group two of the men in the killer had), it's titled Ex-Futur Album, and it's a very good record as well, with Vincent channeling a sort of late-night and subdued Lizzy Mercier Descloux.

Soviet-era serial killers used to be exemplary society members

Not every serial killer should necessarily be either a social outcast or a sociopath. Some of them are good at disguise and may at times have a reputation of exemplary society members. Biographies of many famous serial killers of the USSR era testify to this. Chikatilo helped to catch himself Andrey Chikatilo, a serial killer from Rostov, committed his first crime in 1973, the last in 1990. Chikatilo killed 53 women and children in all that time. Rule One-Nothing is right, nothing is wrong. Kit looks like your average seventeen-year-old high school student, but she has a secret-she's London's notorious "Perfect Killer." She chooses who to murder based on letters left in a secret mailbox, and she's good-no, perfect-at what she does. Trump Picks Gov Puppy Killer For Key Role In His Administration

Prissydent-elect Donald Trump has picked South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who penned the book 'No Going Back' that detailed her murdering a puppy, horses, and at least one goat, as his next secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Hey, at least he didn't pick Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Catturd, or Steve Bannon for the role, all of whom allegedly have not shot a dog in the face -- yet.

CNN reports:

Noem will be tapped to take over the agency as two key immigration hardliners — Stephen Miller and Tom Homan — are slated to serve in senior roles, signaling Trump is serious about his promise to crack down on his immigration pledges. With his selection of Noem, Trump is ensuring a loyalist will head an agency he prioritizes and that is key to his domestic agenda.

The department saw an immense amount of turmoil the last time Trump was in office. Then, DHS had five different leaders, only two of whom were Senate-confirmed. The agency has a $60 billion budget and hundreds of thousands of employees.

Noem, who previously was a South Dakota representative, will now be tasked with overseeing a sprawling agency that oversees everything from US Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the US Secret Service.

How the Osage Changed Martin Scorsese’s Mind About "Killers of the Flower Moon"

A true-life saga involving organized crime, racial prejudice, and evolving American identity, David Grann’s 2017 nonfiction book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the F.B.I. seemed at first glance like a perfect fit for Martin Scorsese, the beloved filmmaker whose dozens of critically adored movies include Taxi Driver, GoodFellas, and The Departed. But when Jim Gray, a former chief of the Osage Nation, and other Osage leaders invited the filmmaker to Oklahoma to hear their concerns about his new project, Scorsese came. Scorsese listened. And then he rewrote and reconfigured Killers of the Flower Moon from soup to nuts, with a result that has earned a rapturous response from Native viewers like Gray and journalist Sandra Hale Schulman, and from the broader critical community, too. The movie opens in theatres tomorrow and will appear on the Apple+ streaming service before the end of the year. In this episode, Schulman walks me through a brief history of how Native Americans have been depicted in a century’s worth of movies. Then, Chief Gray tells me about his personal connection to Killers of the Flower Moon, the pattern of Native American erasure from national discourse, and how he and his colleagues persuaded Scorsese to rethink the new movie.
