Significant Change to Real ID Act

December 20, 2005 – A small but significant change was made to the Real ID Act, when Congress modified certain requirements for victims of domestic violence. Specifically, language inserted in another law will allow victims of domestic violence to use a PO Box instead of a physical address when obtaining a driver’s license.
