RSS to HTML Script Updated

NotePage, Inc. released a new version of their popular RSS2HTML script. RSS2HTML is a free PHP script that converts RSS feeds into HTML web pages. The RSS2HTML script allows webmasters to easily display RSS feeds on their websites.

The content of the RSS feeds can be easily integrated into an existing website's theme using the RSS2HTML PHP script. The rss2html.php script parses the RSS feed, extracts the pertinent information, formats it, and outputs it as regular HTML.

Using RSS2HTML webmasters can customize the format and look of the web page created from the RSS feed. The content of the RSS feed can be easily integrated into an existing website's theme. The webpages will always display the most current information from the RSS feed, and because the resulting page is pure HTML, it will be in a format friendly to search engine robots. The RSS2HTML script runs on any webserver that can run PHP scripts and supports feeds in the RSS 2.0, .93, .92, .91, or .90 format.

Additional details and a download for a free php script can be found at http://www.feedforall.com/free-php-script.htm

The new RSS2HTML script is available from NotePage, Inc., makers of the popular RSS feed creation software, FeedForAll. FeedForAll software enables webmasters to create, edit, manage and publish RSS feeds. RSS has evolved into a popular means to syndicate headlines and distribute content on the Internet. A free fully-functional 30-day trial of FeedForAll is available for download from http://www.feedforall.com

Podcasts and Copyrights

Podcasting has a very low barrier to entry; all you need is audio recording software and a means of creating an RSS feed, be it through software or manual work. As a result, just about anyone can podcast, and the quality of podcasts is therefore highly variable; there are professional podcasts that rival professional broadcasts in quality, and there are amateur podcasts that can not even be heard clearly.

Secure Flight Dies Again

February 10, 2006 – Yesterday, the Transportation Security Administration suspended work on Secure Flight; the agencies long awaited and very expensive airline passenger screening system. Development work on the system has been plagued with trouble for the past four years. And the system has faced stiff opposition from consumers concerned about privacy. But if Secure Flight has proven anything, it’s been that it has more lives than most cats. So is this the end of the program? Unfortunately the answer is, “Probably not.”

February 14, 2006 – ACCESS has been concerned for months that the State Department’s plan to include RFID chips in passports has not been well thought out. The original plan would have placed an RFID chip in every passport which would have contained unencrypted data about the passport holder. After a storm of protest, the State Department revised the standard to include some encryption. Now, a Dutch television news program has along and broken that encryption in less than two hours. The ramifications of this to passport holders are anything but positive.

RSS2HTML Script

In addition to making your RSS feed available to your visitors for use with their RSS Feed Reader, as a webmaster you may also want to make the same feed available on your website for viewing with a regular web browser.

There are several ways to do this, some have advantages or disadvantages compared to others. The best solution is one where the webpage is automatically updated on-the-fly, is easily spidered by search engine robots, and easy to implement.

To attain this optimal solution, the developers of FeedForAll have created a free RSS to HTML PHP script, aptly named RSS2HTML. When used, this script will allow you to create webpages that will always display the most current information from your RSS feed, and because the resulting page is pure HTML, it will be in a format friendly to search engine robots.
