Failure to thrive (FTT) is a common and vexing pediatric problem. Evaluation has historically involved large batteries of tests, multiple consultations, radiologic studies, and prolonged hospital admissions, resulting in significant costs and inconsistent results.

Children with acute liver failure due to a single-dose acetaminophen exposure have a characteristic liver biochemistry profile of low conjugated bilirubin and high alanine aminotransferase, which is associated with a favorable clinical outcome when treated with N-acetylcysteine.

Extreme prematurity is a well-established cause of cognitive and motor impairment. There is some evidence that late prematurity and modifiable maternal attributes may negatively influence scholastic achievement, including standardized test performance.

Surviving infants with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) treated with hypothermia have decreased rates of CP in childhood. CP is associated with increased risk of slow growth.

Lung ultrasound outperforms conventional radiology in the emergency diagnosis of pneumothorax and pleural effusions. In the pediatric age, lung ultrasound has been also successfully applied to the fluid-to-air transition after birth and to rapid pneumonia diagnosis.

Nasal ventilation has dramatically decreased the need for invasive mechanical respiratory support. Staphylococcus aureus osteomyelitis is a debilitating infection of bone. Treatment of osteomyelitis is impaired by the propensity of invading bacteria to induce pathologic bone remodeling that may limit antibiotic penetration to the infectious focus. The nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diflunisal was previously identified as an osteoprotective adjunctive therapy for osteomyelitis, based on the ability of this compound to inhibit S. aureus quorum sensing and subsequent quorum-dependent toxin production. When delivered locally during experimental osteomyelitis, diflunisal significantly limits bone destruction without affecting bacterial burdens. However, because diflunisal's "quorum-quenching" activity could theoretically increase antibiotic recalcitrance, it is critically important to evaluate this adjunctive therapy in the context of standard of care antibiotics. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of vancomycin to treat osteomyelitis during local diflunisal treatment. We first determined that systemic vancomycin effectively reduces bacterial burdens in a murine model of osteomyelitis, and identified a dosing regimen that decreases bacterial burdens without eradicating infection. Using this dosing scheme, we found that vancomycin activity is unaffected by the presence of diflunisal in vitro and in vivo. Similarly, locally-delivered diflunisal still potently inhibits osteoblast cytotoxicity in vitro and bone destruction in vivo in the presence of sub-therapeutic vancomycin. However, we also found that the resorbable polyurethane foams used to deliver diflunisal serve as a nidus for infection. Taken together, these data demonstrate that diflunisal does not significantly impact standard of care antibiotic therapy for S. aureus osteomyelitis, but also highlight potential pitfalls encountered with local drug delivery.

When I enable clock gating in my synthesis flow (using Genus 18.15), my simulation (using Xcelium) on the post-synthesis netlist fails. The simulation succeeds pre-synthesis and also if I remove clock-gating in the design. I use set_db  lp_insert_clock_gating true to enable clock gating during synthesis. I printed out some of the signals from the netlist and can see where it fails (it incorrectly writes a register). However, I am not sure how to solve this issue or what I should be looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm exploring VManager tool capabilities.

I launched a simulation with xrun, which terminates with a fatal error (`uvm_fatal actually).

Then I imported the flow session, through VManager -> Regression -> Collect Runs, linking the directory with ucm and ucd of just failed run.

VManager imports the test with following attributes:

Total Runs =1

#Passed =1

#Failed =0

What I'm missing here? It should be imported as failed test.

If I right click on flow name and choose Analyze All Runs, VManager brings me to Analysis tab and I can see only a PASSED tag in Runs subwindow.

I'm doing fault injection with ncsim and got stuck at the following (and not so useful) message: "ncsim: *E,FLTIGF: [FLT] Failed to inject fault at circuit_tb.U0.n2174." I already tried with other NETs, with SET, SA0, SA1, always the same error occurs.

My scripts so far, considering I already compiled the Verilog testbench and also the gates from the technology library (gate-level simulation):

Exporting a waveform into a vcsv file returns the error:

The wsSaveTraceCommand command generated an exception basic_string::_S_construct null not valid.

Only the first row of the vcsv file is created (";Version, 1, 0"). This was the first time I've exported waveforms generated with Assembler. I had no issue before with the combination of ADE L, Parametric sweep and ViVA XL. My project uses ICADV 12.3. I have not found any related forum entry or documentation. How could I export the waveforms in vcsv? Exporting the values into a table and then exporting into a csv works, but my post-processing script was written for vcsv format.
