Hi, 

I want my layout verified by Quantus QRC. But, I can't find the tool bar on the option list ( as show in the picture)

I have tried to install EXT182 and configured it with iscape already, and also make some path settings on .bashrc, .cshrc. But, when I re-source .cshrc and run virtuoso again, I just can't find the toolbar. 

If you have some methods, please let me know.

I am using Virtuoso 6.1.7.

I am performing the parasitic extraction of a MOM cap array of 32 caps. I use Quantus QRC and I enable field solver. I select “QRCFS” for field solver type and “High” for field solver accuracy. The unit MOM cap is horizontally and vertically symmetric. The array looks like the sketch below and there are no other structures except the unit caps:

Rationally speaking, the capacitance values of the unit caps should be symmetric with respect to a vertical symmetry axis that is between cap16 and cap17 (shown with dashed red line). For example,

the capacitance of cap1 should be equal to the capacitance of cap32

the capacitance of cap2 should be equal to the capacitance of cap31

etc. as there are no other structures around the caps that might create some asymmetry.

Nevertheless, what I observe is the following after the parasitic extraction:

As it can be seen, the result is not symmetric contrary to what is expected. I should also add that I do not observe this when I perform parasitic extraction with no filed solver.

Why do I get this result? Is it an artifact resulting from the field solver tool (my conclusion was yes but still it must be verified)? If not, how can something like this happen?

Dassault Systèmes Reports First Quarter Financial Results With Recurring Software, Operating Margin and EPS At the High End of Its Non-IFRS Guidance

Qualys has discovered that OpenBSD suffers from multiple authentication bypass and local privilege escalation vulnerabilities.

Qualys discovered a local privilege escalation in OpenBSD's dynamic loader (ld.so). This vulnerability is exploitable in the default installation (via the set-user-ID executable chpass or passwd) and yields full root privileges. They developed a simple proof of concept and successfully tested it against OpenBSD 6.6 (the current release), 6.5, 6.2, and 6.1, on both amd64 and i386; other releases and architectures are probably also exploitable.

Quarks PwDump is a native Win32 tool to extract credentials from Windows operating systems. It currently extracts local accounts NT/LM hashes and history, domain accounts NT/LM hashes and history, cached domain password, and Bitlocker recovery information.

Qualys has discovered a memory leak and a buffer overflow in the dynamic loader (ld.so) of the GNU C Library (glibc).

Solar company Hanergy announced that its thin-film solar modules will cover the 150,000 square meter roof of the ‘Rafael Gallery’ located at a Tech City in Shanghai.

Just after the midnight hour of New Year’s Eve 2020, more than confetti will be abandoned on America’s sidewalks and parlors. Somewhere around $130 million dollars of Investment Tax Credit (ITC) from that year’s anticipated Commercial & Industrial solar projects will fall out from any hope of reaching the proverbial pocket books of the nation’s infrastructure investors (assuming 2000MW of C&I and Community solar, and a $2/w installation cost). On 1/1/20, the ITC drops to 26 percent, a first step to further decrease the following year.
