In our current economic environment lawyers, both in in-house and external counsel, need to apply stronger and more transparent legal project management practices.  To ensure legal matters are handled efficiently, and to meet the needs and expectations of the business, in-house counsel need to partner with the business, and with external counsel, to scope, plan, staff and monitor the work.
