NASA’s Power to Explore Challenge calls on U.S. students to submit ideas for moon missions powered by radioisotope systems. The contest encourages kindergarten through Year 12 students to envision a mission, detail objectives, and apply their unique “power” to achieve mission success. Entries are due by January 31, 2025, and grand prize winners will tour NASA’s Glenn Research Center, gaining insight into the technology and science of space exploration.

The series is expected to include a base iQOO Neo 10 and an iQOO Neo 10 Pro.

Baidu, the Chinese tech giant, announced two new artificial intelligence (AI) platforms on Tuesday. The company introduced a text-to-image generator dubbed I-RAG and a no-code platform called Miaoda. The new AI platforms were showcased at the Baidu World Conference, the company’s annual event. Additionally, the company also plans to launch new AI-integrated smart glasses. These glasses will be equipped with a dedicated AI assistant.

Gigabyte M27QA ICE monitor has been launched in India. It joins the Taiwanese manufacturer’s extensive lineup of gaming monitors and boasts features such as a 27-inch panel with QHD resolution, a refresh rate of 180Hz, and AMD FreeSync technology for improved visuals. Gigabyte says its monitor carries support for OSD Sidekick software which enables users to tweak various display settings and allows for further customisation through the keyboard and mouse.

Vivo Y300 5G will launch soon in India, the Chinese tech brand announced on Tuesday. Vivo has not revealed the launch date of the new Y series phone, but has shared an image on the social media platform showing its rear design. The Vivo Y300 appears to have a dual rear camera unit. It is expected to debut as a mid-range smartphone with upgrades over last year's Vivo Y200.

iQOO 13 is set to launch in India in December, and the handset is anticipated to arrive in global markets with identical specifications as the model that was launched in China last month. The company has now announced that the iQOO 13 will be offered in India in two colour options.

Epoch AI, a California-based research institute launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) benchmark last week. Dubbed FrontierMath, the new AI benchmark tests large language models (LLMs) on their capability of reseasoning and mathematical problem-solving.
