Hence, even though there are five tracks in the John Abraham starrer, one expects a situational score at best. <img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-969148" src="https://www.bollywoodhungama.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Romeo-Akbar-Walter-3-1.jpg" alt="" width="720" height="450" /> <strong>MUSIC</strong> First to arrive is a patriotic number <strong><em>'Vande Mataram'</em></strong> which has Shabbir Ahmed composing and writing it. This one has an old fashioned feel to it and goes all the way into the 60s style. Sonu Nigam leads the show as a singer with Ekta Kapoor (not to be confused with the namesake film and TV producer) in this song that is just about okay and doesn't cover the distance. The one that turns out to be quite good though is <strong><em>'Bulleya'</em></strong>. In fact it is surprising that the song wasn't really pumped all over since it had the potential to emerge as one of the major chartbusters of this year. Rendered by Rabbi Shergill (of <em>'Bulla Ki Jaana Mein Kaun'</em> fame), it has Shahid Mallya as his singing partner. A well written number by Ashok Punjabi, it has a very catchy tune by Sohail Sen that belongs to Sufi genre but has been presented in a Bollywood avtar, hence turning out to be an all-around effort. Next to arrive is a romantic number <strong><em>'Jee Len De'</em></strong> which is put to tune by Raaj Aashoo and is written by Murali Agarwal &amp; Shabbir Ahmed. This one has the kind of tune which reminds one of many Emraan Hashmi numbers that were composed a decade back. As a matter of fact the beginning of the song reminds one of Mohd. Rafi's <em>'Teri Pyaari Pyaari Surat Ko'</em> that was picturised on Rajendra Kumar in <em>Sasural</em> [1961]. However, the similarity just stops at the opening line as rest of this Mohit Chauhan rendered track maintains its own identity. <strong><em>'Allah Hoo Allah'</em></strong> comes next and just like <em>'Bulleya'</em>, even this one had the potential to cover some sort of distance. Composed and written by Shabbir Ahmed, this one is crooned by Sameer Khan and is a good qawalli in the offering. In fact it also appears at a good juncture of the film's narrative and is actually one of the few songs in there that really fits in well. Last to arrive is <strong><em>'Maa'</em></strong> which is written by debutant Prince Dubey. An ordinary piece by composer and singer Ankit Tiwari, it has a slow start and stays that way right through its three minute odd duration. An ode to the mother, it is about the protagonist remembering her in the times of pain and sorrow. Though this is a situational number, it actually brings down the film's pace. <strong>OVERALL</strong> With the current trend of number of soundtracks releasing just a day or two before the film's release, it takes time for the music to grow. However, one can expect <em>'Bulleya'</em> and <em>'Jee Len De'</em> to find an audience in the long run. <strong>OUR PICK(S)</strong> <em>‘Bulleya’</em>, <em>‘Jee Len De’</em>

I have enjoyed several books by people who have through-hiked the Appalachian Trail (A.T.). But Isis and jackrabbit (their trail names) set off barefoot from Mount Katahdin in Maine on their way to Springer Mountain in Georgia (They used boots after the snow started falling on them in Virginia.).

They take turns telling the story, and that sets this book apart from others I have read. I got to see things through both their eyes. So they reignited my hope to hike the A.T. Okay, not barefoot. And I'd probably start in Georgia and hike north, but still. There's a community of through hikers there every year. To be part of that community! A lot are unable to finish for one reason or another. But still...

A beat-up green Dodge ground to a halt on the gravel beside us, and the driver rolled down the window and shouted over to us, "thru-hikers?" We smiled and nodded. "Hop in!"

We loaded two packs into the trunk. Isis and Blade clambered into the backseat with the third. The powerful reek of week-old sweat filled up the hot interior of the car, but the driver seemed not to mind.

"I hiked northbound in '88," he said. As we sped down the two-lane road to Gorham, New Hampshire, we exchanged names and hiking stories. He stopped in the driveway of a large B&B at the edge of town. The gray building just ahead of us, an old hay barn, had an A.T. sign by the door, and a crowd of familiar people longed on the strip of lawn beside the driveway.

"Welcome to The Barn," the driver said. A look of nostalgia stole over his face, a bemused mixture of joy and regret that we would see on the faces of many ex-hikers when they talked about the Trail. "Make the most of your hike. It doesn't last forever."

We thanked him and the battered station wagon pulled out of the drive and was lost in the stream of traffic.

Inside the Barn, the accommodations were fairly basic: a common room downstairs with a TV and VCR, board games, magazines, and fuzzy plaid-upholstered armchairs that had seen better days...

At a bookstore just down the street from the hostel, we shelled out the money for a copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Hardcover. We had debated endlessly with ourselves and each other: is it worth the weight? In the end, the prospect of truly entertaining trail reading had won out...

Matt, Blue Skies, and Tenbrooks caught a shuttle out of town in the early afternoon. The rest of us, a motley crew of southbounders and a few northbounders, convened at Mr. Pizza at 6:30...

Attorney General Bill Barr explained that the FBI did not conduct “a bonafide counterintelligence investigation” in the case that led former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn to plead guilty to federal investigators in 2017.Barr, speaking in an exclusive interview with CBS News after the Justice Department dropped its case against Flynn on Thursday, said that his review of the case found Bureau investigators laid “a perjury trap” for Flynn in a January 2017 White House interview.“They didn’t warn him, the way that would usually be required by the Department, they bypassed the Justice Department, they bypassed the protocols at the White House, and so forth,” Barr stated. “These were things that persuaded me that there was not a legitimate counterintelligence investigation.”Former FBI director James Comey admitted in a December 2018 interview that he “sent” the agents to interview Flynn, adding that it was “something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in a more organized administration.”In its Thursday court filing, the Justice Department explained that it was “not persuaded” that Flynn’s interview, which led to his guilty plea for lying to FBI agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka, had proper predication and was materially relevant.Comey tweeted his disappointment, following the decision, saying "the DOJ has lost its way."> The DOJ has lost its way. When they heard about the phone call, which the FBI had the transcripts to — there was no question as to what was discussed, the FBI knew exactly what was discussed — and General Flynn, being the former director of the DIA, said to them, ‘you listen to everything, you know what was said,’” Barr explained.“So there’s no mystery about the call, but they initially tried some theories of how could open another investigation, which didn’t fly, and then they found out that they had not technically closed the earlier investigation, and they kept it open for the expressed purpose of trying to catch — lay a perjury trap — for General Flynn,” he added. A different filing released last week showed handwritten notes from an FBI official that questioned if the goal of Flynn’s White House interview was “to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired.”Barr also did not comment on whether those that sought to entrap Flynn would face criminal charges, pointing to U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and saying his team was “in the middle” of “looking at the whole pattern of conduct.”“I’m going to wait until all the evidence is [in], and I get their recommendations as to what they found and how serious it is. But, if we were to find wrongdoing, in the sense of any criminal act, obviously we would follow through on that,” Barr said. “But again, just because something may even stink to high heaven, and appear to everyone to be bad, we still have to apply the right standard and be convinced that there is a violation of a criminal statute and that we can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. The same standard applies to everybody.”
