Additional Safety Measures to Ensure Social Distancing on Buses to Protect Customers & Bus Operators

Starting Thursday, April 2, DART will limit the number of passengers allowed on each bus at any given time, based on bus seating capacity. Passenger boardings will be through the rear door with no fare collection. Riders needing boarding assistance will be allowed to continue boarding through the front door.

 

In order to accommodate riders, DART will operate additional timing buses, as well as have additional operators on standby.

DOVER – With Delaware’s annual spring wild turkey hunting season approaching, DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife Hunter Education Program reminds both resident and non-resident hunters age 13 and older that they must pass a Division-Approved turkey hunting course before they can legally hunt turkeys in the First State. Also, hunters age 13 and older born after Jan. 1, 1967, must have completed an approved basic hunter education safety course and have a course card/number. DPH Concerned About Increasing Number of Flu Cases As It Announces Additional Flu-Related Deaths

As of February 15, 2020, there have been 5,047 confirmed cases of influenza in Delaware, including 267 hospitalizations. These numbers reflect only the number of lab-confirmed cases; the actual number of cases circulating statewide is likely much higher. By comparison, at the same time in the 2018-2019 season, there were 3,264 flu cases in Delaware, including 537 hospitalizations, and 13 flu-related deaths.
