On 2 April during the 73^rd General Assembly dinner, ETSI unveiled its three 2019 ETSI Fellows for their outstanding contribution to ETSI’s work. Awards were granted to Roberto Macchi, David Chater-Lea and Friedhelm Hillebrand.

The award ceremony took place in the beautiful Domaine de Barbossi, a resort comprising high class hotel and restaurants, a golf and tennis course and a country club, located in Mandelieu la Napoule on the Côte d’Azur.

Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College welcomes John O’Neill, Jen Agans, and Michelle Sikes for its second cohort of Faculty Fellows.  

Penn State’s Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), part of Penn State University Libraries, has welcomed five University instructors across three campuses into its Faculty Fellows cohort for 2024-26 and started collaborating on a new collection of projects. Faculty chosen for the Faculty Fellows program team up with TLT on innovative technology projects, with past endeavors spanning a broad spectrum from learning spaces to virtual reality/immersive experiences to data-empowered learning.

Faculty and staff in Penn State’s Law, Policy, and Engineering (LPE) initiative were recently tapped by the governor’s office to lead a two-day training program in September in Harrisburg on science and technology policy. The faculty and staff are part of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Science and Technology Policy Program, which is run by LPE and aims to improve public and environmental health, economic and social equity, and public scientific discourse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
