CHINESE WEBSITE CLASSIFICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM BASED ON CHARACTERISTIC ANALYSIS OF WEBSITE HOMEPAGE

Disclosed are a Chinese website classification method and system based on characteristic analysis of a website homepage. The method specifically comprises the following steps: S1, crawling website content; S2, labeling a website type; S3, extracting website information; S4, calculating a weight and representing the weight in the form of a characteristic vector; and S5, classifying the website by comparing the characteristic vector. By utilizing the above Chinese website classification method and system, the noise interference can be alleviated to the greatest extent by only extracting a title and meta-information of the website; by means of pre-processing and characteristic vector expression, the characteristics of the website are accurately expressed with the vector, so that the accuracy of classification is increased; and since only the title and meta-information of the website need to be processed, the quantity of data to be processed is small, and the processing speed is high.

Rockford Public Library Offers Curbside Pick-Up

Attention bibliophiles! If you like e-books, but have missed holding and reading real books, the Rockford Public Library is providing curbside pick-up by appointment at all of their branches. Bridget Finn is the marketing director for RPL and she says customers can reserve items through the website or by phone. "After that," Finn said, "the staff will pull the items -- if they're available -- sanitize them, call the customer, set an appointment for them to come pick up the items, and get them ready for retrieval." Customers will get called up to the door and asked to show their library card or State ID through the window. Once the staff verifies the customer's identity and items, they will ask that person to step back six feet. The staff member will then place the items on a cart and roll it outside. When the staff member is back inside the building, the customer may retrieve the items. Customers may also reserve DVDs and CDs. To reserve items from the library and learn more about

FBI Seizes Website Suspected Of Selling Access To Billions Of Pieces Of Stolen Data

U.S. authorities have seized the domain name of a website that allegedly sold access to billions of usernames, email addresses, passwords and other sensitive information stolen in data breaches. Now, visitors to the not-so-subtle website – weleakinfo.com — are greeted with a homepage that reads, "This Domain Has Been Seized." The Justice Department and the FBI took control of the site as part of a "comprehensive law enforcement action" involving authorities in Germany, Northern Ireland, the U.K. and the Netherlands. Two men in Europe have been arrested so far in connection with the site. WeLeakInfo billed itself as a "search engine" that subscribers could use to pore over data illegally obtained from more than 10,000 data breaches, U.S. authorities said in a statement . In all, the Justice Department said the site was offering access to more than 12 billion indexed records.
