rem RE: CDRH PREMARKET REVIEW SUBMISSION COVER SHEET By connect.raps.org Published On :: Wed, 06 May 2020 04:30:41 -0400 From : Communities>>Regulatory Open ForumHello Anon, In the version, I usually put the last year or the year generally recognised, e.g. ISO 14971 being 2007. Then for the publication date, I do put the latest version when published so would be April 2010. Because of the way standards are amended and revised, it can be quite difficult to determine what to put on the cover sheet. I would also rely a bit on the Recognized Standards list the FDA publishes: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfStandards/search.cfm to list [More] Full Article Discussion

From what I was reading and seeing (I must have missed that update) there was nothing addressing UDI or no UDI.for EUA products. (Personally I am a bit surprised at this since the whole concept of UDI is traceability and they waive this for emergency use products - when there is an issue this is where UDI becomes so important. rem Putin’s Remarks on Use of Nuclear Weapons Are Confusing, But Unlikely to Constitute a Shift in Nuclear Posture By www.belfercenter.org Published On :: Nov 28, 2018 Nov 28, 2018Russian President Vladimir Putin’s eschatological talk of nuclear Armageddon at this year’s Valdai forum has stirred up heated debates on how well his description of Russia’s potential use of nuclear weapons matches the country’s official military doctrine. However, a close look at Putin’s Oct. 18 remarks and Russia’s 2014 military doctrine reveals that, while Putin deviated from the language in the doctrine, he did not lie on the first use issue. Nor did he seem to be hinting at a shift in Russia’s nuclear posture. More likely, he was signaling to Washington that the existing nuclear arms control treaties need to remain in place for the sake of ensuring strategic stability in the U.S.-Russian nuclear dyad and avoiding an accidental war between the two countries. rem Abhijit Iyer-Mitra's arrested for 'derogatory' remarks: Many condemn Odisha govt's move By www.thenewsminute.com Published On :: Thu, 25 Oct 2018 07:22:37 +0000 ArrestAbhijit Iyer-Mitra was arrested for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Sun Temple and Odisha culture. TNM StaffSecurity analyst and columnist Abhijit Iyer-Mitra was arrested on Tuesday for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Sun Temple and Odisha culture. The Commissionerate Police arrested Abhijit after hours of interrogation at an undisclosed location in Bhubaneswar. Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty said Abhijit was arrested in connection with a criminal case registered against him at Saheed Nagar Police Station on September 20. He has been booked under IP63C Sections 294, 295A, 153A, 500, 506 and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. He also appeared before a House Committee of Odisha Assembly on Tuesday and tendered an unconditional apology for his derogatory remarks on legislators. The House panel, headed by leader of opposition Narasingh Mishra, asked Abhijit to re-appear on November 2 and submit an affidavit. "Abhijit Iyer-Mitra admitted to the charges levelled against him and offered an unconditional apology for his 'stupidity'. He has been directed to depose before the Committee and submit an affidavit in this regard," said Mishra. "After examining his affidavit, the panel will decide whether to accept his apology or not. Accordingly, the Committee will then recommend to the House to take action against him, if necessary," he said. Abhijit was questioned about the alleged breach of privilege. Many have condemned his arrest, terming it "a zone where freedom is in danger, and an "Orwellian nightmare". Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi, quite admirable that you are active on social media. So I am sure you are aware that in India one can get arrested, like my friend @Iyervval, for a tweet on the origin of Rasagola. Abhijit had on September 16 posted a video on Twitter criticising the Konark temple. Later, he went on to make the alleged derogatory remarks against Odisha and its culture. Two FIRs were registered against him at Konark and Saheed Nagar police stations for his remarks. Last month, the Odisha Police arrested the columnist in New Delhi for his anti-Odisha comments. rem 10 facts about Social Security and retirement saving By webfeeds.brookings.edu Published On :: Fri, 13 Nov 2015 15:27:00 -0500 “Social security is not going broke,” said Carolyn Colvin, acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, at a Brookings Retirement Security Project event this week. She was joined by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray to discuss retirement planning and to unveil a new retirement calculator. “Social Security is the only guaranteed monthly income for a majority of older consumers,” Cordray said. After their keynote addresses, a panel of retirement security experts moderated by Guest Scholar Joshua Gotbaum discussed efforts to improve retirement planning and what knowledge the average American needs to make retirement planning achievable. Ted Gayer, VP and director of Economic Studies at Brookings, introduced the event. Here are 10 facts about Social Security and retirement planning mentioned during the event. Full video is available below and on the event’s page. 1/3 of U.S. households spend all of their available resources in every pay period 60 million people received Social Security benefits in September 2015 For the average worker, Social Security replaces only about 40 percent of pre-retirement earnings 45 million people are already 65 or order, and 10,000 people are turning 65 each day The average American now spends about 20 years in retirement (in 1950, the average was about 4 years) 4 in 10 Americans aged 51-59 are reaching retirement with limited or no savings, and are projected to face a saving shortfall ~2/3 of the 40 million Americans 65 and older who receive Social Security benefits depend on those benefits for ½ or more of their retirement income It’s about 70 percent or more of income for those 80 or older Only 60 percent of people who retire claim to have done any retirement planning at all Delaying claiming Social Security “buys” people 6-8 percent more real benefits per year once they do take it Olivia Mitchell, a professor at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, explained this last point, noting that if a person stopped working at 62 but waited to claim benefits until 70, he or she would receive a benefit 76 percent higher in (real) dollars per month for life. “When to claim Social Security is many older Americans’ most important financial decision they will ever make in their lifetimes,” according to Mitchell.
