Apple to begin reopening U.S. stores this month

In an effort to ease this assuredly mutual feeling of longing, the company confirmed on Friday plans to begin reopening some of its U.S. stores as early as MondayApple had been aiming for a May reopening for some time, but now it's official.

Study will begin in August 2009.  Scholarship provisions include tuition, residence hall fees, book allowance, living stipend, health insurance, and round-trip airfare.

The Spring 2008 Jefferson Fellowships program
will take place May 3-25, 2008, and is open to journalists from the United States, Asia, and the Pacific islands. The theme for this program is “Beyond the Boomtowns: Development Challenges in The Other China.” Fellows will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii; and Beijing, Chongqing and Chengdu, China. The China study tour will include overland travel through smaller cities and rural areas. Fellows will visit regions that reflect different stages of China’s economic and political development.
