After months of wrangling following the Russia probe, prosecutors will not go ahead with the case against Michael Flynn based on the former national security adviser's false statements to the FBI.

Shares of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI) are gaining almost 6 percent or $3.95 in Wednesday's morning trade at $72.48, after the video game producer reported an increase in profit for the first quarter and raised its full-year outlook. The stock has traded in a range of $41.84 to $74.79 in the past 52 weeks.

Omura, a California-based marijuana and hemp flower vaporizer company, said that Bruce Linton, the former CEO and founder of Canadian cannabis company Canopy Growth Corp., has participated in the company's latest fundraising round. Linton has also joined Omura as strategic advisor.

While reporting financial results for the first quarter on Friday, energy company Avista Corp. (AVA) said it is lowering its consolidated earnings guidance for the full-year 2020 to reflect regulatory items, expected net impacts from COVID-19, and losses at our non-utility businesses.
