The government had last month extended the deadline to file GST returns for March to May 5, from April 20. As per convention, the government releases GST revenue collection number on the basis of cash collection in a particular month.

According to data from GSTN, over 19,552 tickets raised by taxpayers were resolved between March 25 and April 24.

As per the current goods and services tax (GST) audit guidelines, taxpayers have been broadly categorised into three groups based on their annual turnover -- large, medium and small.

This working paper reports on the work undertaken as part of the Tackling Long-term Unemployment Amongst Vulnerable Groups project. It includes the findings of a survey undertaken jointly by the OECD LEED Programme and the World Association of Public Employment Services in 2012, and also case studies and learning models from around the world on innovative practices to support the long-term unemployed into work.
