Dear Editor,Rumours have more potential to cause chaos now more than ever before. Previously, misconceptions and mischaracterisations took longer to infect the minds of a society. Maybe that left us unprepared.

During prenatal counseling for prematurity, information is provided to expectant parents to empower them to participate in the medical-care decision-making regarding their child. However, numerous studies have shown that providing information effectively during preterm labor is challenging.

The current study provides evidence that effectiveness of counseling can be improved by providing written information to parents before the face-to-face verbal counseling. Appropriately presented, detailed information improves knowledge and decreases maternal anxiety. (Read the full article)

Detained youth represent a vulnerable pediatric population with worse health outcomes than their nondetained peers. To date, little work has been done to determine whether health information technologies may be effectively used to improve the health of this underserved population.

The Internet is accessible to youth involved in the juvenile justice system. A securely accessible online system to store detained youth’s health information may be both feasible and acceptable for engaging these adolescents more actively in their health care. (Read the full article)

Information is limited on adoption of fully functional electronic health records (EHRs) in office-based pediatric practices, such as rates of adoption, barriers to adoption, and features that pediatricians choose.

A nationwide survey of members of the AAP in 2009 found that pediatric adoption of fully functional EHRs lags general adoption. Barriers include financial and productivity concerns, but pediatricians are also concerned about finding systems that meet their specific needs. (Read the full article)

I would like to understand if it is possible from Simvision to get the information regarding the view of a block. In principle using the Schematic Tracer Simvision is able to find the information about the config of that particular model, but I did not found a command for describing the nature of the module (for example if it is schematic or rtl or real model...)

Any functions that I can use for this purpose?

Which Products Are in the License File?

One Cadence product can require more than one license (FEATURE). The product to feature mapping in the license file lists the licenses each product needs.

For example, if the license file lists these features for the NC-VHDL Simulator:

Qualys discovered a minor vulnerability in OpenSMTPD, OpenBSD's mail server. An unprivileged local attacker can read the first line of an arbitrary file (for example, root's password hash in /etc/master.passwd) or the entire contents of another user's file (if this file and /var/spool/smtpd/ are on the same filesystem). A proof of concept exploit is included in this archive.

Facebook suffered from an information disclosure vulnerability. If a user uploaded their contacts to Facebook and then proceeded to download their expanded dataset from the DYI (Download Your Information) section, they would receive a file called addressbook.html in their downloaded archive. The addressbook.html is supposed to house the contact information they uploaded. However, due to a flaw in how Facebook implemented this, it also housed contact information from other uploads other users have performed for the same person, provided they had one piece of matching data. This effectively built large dossiers on users and disclosed their information to anyone that knew at least one piece of matching data.

A DLL side loading vulnerability was found in the BDA MPEG2 Transport Information Filter that ships with Windows Vista. This issue can be exploited by loading the filter as an embedded OLE object. When instantiating the object Windows will try to load the DLL ehTrace.dll from the current working directory. If an attacker convinces the user to open a specially crafted (Office) document from a directory also containing the attacker's DLL file, it is possible to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the target user. This can potentially result in the attacker taking complete control of the affected system.

A low impact information disclosure vulnerability in the setuid root xlock binary distributed with Solaris may allow local users to read partial contents of sensitive files. Due to the fact that target files must be in a very specific format, exploitation of this flaw to escalate privileges in a realistic scenario is unlikely.

An exploitable Information Disclosure vulnerability exists in the ACEManager EmbeddedAceGet_Task.cgi functionality of Sierra Wireless AirLink ES450 FW 4.9.3. A specially crafted HTTP request can cause an information disclosure, resulting in the exposure of confidential information, including, but not limited to, plaintext passwords and SNMP community strings. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request, or run the binary, to trigger this vulnerability.

An exploitable information disclosure vulnerability exists in the ACEManager template_load.cgi functionality of Sierra Wireless AirLink ES450 FW 4.9.3.
