check FinTechs Must Be Involved In Paycheck Protection Program Lending For Small Business By www.small-business-software.net Published On :: Fri, 10 Apr 2020 08:02:30 -0400 Small businesses drive the economy and create the lions share of jobs in the private sector economy. However, right now they are struggling mightily. Although it is recommended that companies have at least six months’ worth of revenue in the bank to weather economic disruptions such as the coronavirus, the reality is that most small companies don’t have enough cash to operate more than a couple of weeks. For the service industry: restaurants, nail salons, haircutters, landscapers, athletic trainers, and others, the loss of weekly revenue is devastating for the owners and staff of small businesses. Most service workers live paycheck to paycheck and cannot go very long without being paid. We have already seen an enormous spike in unemployment claims, ending an era when the economy has basically been at full employment. complete article Full Article
check Your Cybersecurity Spring-Cleaning Checklist By www.small-business-software.net Published On :: Wed, 3 Jun 2020 07:10:22 -0400 For small business owners, tidying up your digital space means conducting a virtual sweep of your website and organizations security practices. I recommend that small business owners use the following cybersecurity spring cleaning checklist to ensure they don't miss any important items. Spring Clean Your Website The first step of cybersecurity spring cleaning is to deep clean your business website. By clearing out what you do not need, you can improve the overall health of your site. Start with decluttering plugins and software. You should only keep the ones you're using and delete the rest to reduce your sites cybersecurity risk. After you remove any plugins and software you are not using, make sure the ones you keep are updated. In addition, continue to proactively monitor your plugins and software on a regular basis and check for security updates. It's also the perfect time to take a closer look at the data you're gathering from customers. Ask yourself if you are collecting information that truly benefits your business, such as information that drives value for marketing, sales, and services. If the type of information you collect has changed over time, delete any data and applications you're no longer using such as analytics code, remarketing snippets, affiliate tracking, and CRM tracking. check Faith's Checkbook by C.H. Spurgeon By bible.christiansunite.com Published On :: Wed, 13 Nov 2024 14:29:49 GMT Faith's Checkbook by C.H. SpurgeonDevotional for Wednesday November 13, 2024The Unfailing Watch Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:4) Jehovah is "the Keeper of Israel." No form of unconsciousness ever steals over Him, neither the deeper slumber nor the slighter sleep. He never fails to watch the house and the heart of His people. This is a sufficient reason for our resting in perfect peace. Alexander said that he slept because his friend Parmenio watched; much more may we sleep because our God is our guard. "Behold" is here set up to call our attention to the cheering truth. Israel, when he had a stone for his pillow, fell asleep; but His God was awake and came in vision to His servant. When we lie defenseless, Jehovah Himself will cover our head. The Lord keeps His people as a rich man keeps his treasure, as a captain keeps a city with a garrison, as a sentry keeps watch over his sovereign. None can harm those who are in such keeping. Let me put my soul into His dear hands. He never forgets us, never ceases actively to care for us, never finds Himself unable to preserve us. O my Lord, keep me, lest I wander and fall and perish. Keep me, that I may keep Thy commandments. By Thine unslumbering care prevent my sleeping like the sluggard and perishing like those who sleep the sleep of death. View more daily devotionals online. check Automatically Checking Feature Model Refactorings By www.jucs.org Published On :: 2011-05-06T16:03:26+02:00 A feature model (FM) defines the valid combinations of features, whose combinations correspond to a program in a Software Product Line (SPL). FMs may evolve, for instance, during refactoring activities. Developers may use a catalog of refactorings as support. However, the catalog is incomplete in principle. Additionally, it is non-trivial to propose correct refactorings. To our knowledge, no previous analysis technique for FMs is used for checking properties of general FM refactorings (a transformation that can be applied to a number of FMs) containing a representative number of features. We propose an efficient encoding of FMs in the Alloy formal specification language. Based on this encoding, we show how the Alloy Analyzer tool, which performs analysis on Alloy models, can be used to automatically check whether encoded general and specific FM refactorings are correct. Our approach can analyze general transformations automatically to a significant scale in a few seconds. In order to evaluate the analysis performance of our encoding, we evaluated in automatically generated FMs ranging from 500 to 2,000 features. Furthermore, we analyze the soundness of general transformations. Full Article
check Developing a Multidimensional Checklist for Evaluating Language-Learning Websites Coherent with the Communicative Approach: A Path for the Knowing-How-To-Do Enhancement By Published On :: 2016-03-29 As a result of the rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the growing interest in Internet-based tools for language classroom, it has become a pressing need for educators to locate, evaluate and select the most appropriate language-learning digital resources that foster more communicative and meaningful learning processes. Hence, this paper describes a mixed research project that, on the first hand, aimed at proposing a Checklist for evaluating language websites built on the principles of the Communicative Approach, and on the second hand, sought to strengthen the teachers’ Knowing-how-to-do skill as part of their digital competence. To achieve these goals, a four-phase research procedure was followed that included reviewing relevant literature and administering qualitative and quantitative research methods to participants (i.e., language teachers, an expert in the Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) field and a college professor) in order to gain insights into problematic issues and, thereafter, to contribute to the creation and validation of the Checklist model and the Study Guide. The findings revealed that: (a) evaluating language websites leads to the enhancement of the teachers’ practical skills and their knowledge of the technological language; and (b) having an assessment instrument allows educators to choose the materials that best meet their communicative teaching purposes. check Mika Köhler - Bike Check 2017 By www.kunstform.org Published On :: 2017-10-24 17:07:16 Our 18inch shredder Mika Köhler has built up his current whip with some fresh parts, which we had to check out! Yo Mika, where do you come from and how long have you been riding? Hey, I'm from Lauffen am Neckar, GER and I've been riding BMX for 4years now. What is your favorite BMX video? Many, but I prefer the Sunday grow up and the BSD Transmission DVD most! What bike setup do you have and what can you tell about it? So basically a bike for me has to be street-ready, black, clean and in 18 inches. I would prefer, if the whole setup would be built out of only 2-3 brands but it's a bit hard to find the perfect parts for a 18inch bike. This is why my bmx is equipped with about 15 different brands. Each part is carefully selected and fits like the fist on the eye. I'm particularly proud of the handlebars and cranks, which were the first custom parts of my first bmx, which was a stereo halfstack 18 ". Soon the cranks will be replaced and hung on the wall! check André Bodlin - Bike Check 2017 By www.kunstform.org Published On :: 2017-10-30 14:04:56 André Bodlin has recently received parts from eclat via traffic distro for his new whip, which we had to check out! Yo André, where do you come from and how long have you been riding? I come from the beautiful Sonthofen in the Allgäu, but I'm living for 3,5 years in Stuttgart now. I've been riding BMX for about 6-7 years. What is your favorite BMX video? Difficult task from the abundance of great BMX videos to choose a favorite, but the Above Below Part by Nathan Williams (filmed by Rich Forne) I've probably watched most. What bike setup do you have and what can you tell about it? Most of the parts on my bike are Éclat products. Only frame and handlebars come from Wethepeople. The frame is - since I`m not the largest - with the small top tube (20.75 ") quite perfect for me. In addition, I`ve made sure that the Chain Stay is slightly shorter. Tailwhips are a bit easier. There is not much more to report. Except maybe my light Chicago handlebars (but still limited). Oh yes: I am very satisfied :) Frame: WeThePeople Patron 20,75“ Fork: éclat Storm with 30mm Bars: WeThePeople Patron 9“ Stem: éclat "Mercury V1" Topload Headset: éclat Cargo Headset Grips: Odi Barends: Odyssey ParEnds Tires: éclat Mirage Rims: éclat Trippin XL FW Hub: Cortex-Female-Vorderradnabe BW Hub: éclat Dynamic Cassette Spokes: good question Hubguards: èclat Pegs: éclat Venom in 4“ Seatpost: - Seat: éclat OZ Pivotal Crank: éclat Spire in 170 mm Bearings: - Pedals: éclat Slash Nylon Sprocket: écalt Vent Guard Chain: - Brake: Etnies Jameson Vulc Anything else to talk about?
