BLOW TORCH, A BLOW TORCH NOZZLE AND A SWIRLER FOR A BLOW TORCH NOZZLE

A blow torch nozzle (10) having a swirler (26) which is bounded by a generally cylindrical shape (42). The swirler (26) a passageway (28, 40) extending through it defined by a wall surface of the swirler (26). A part of the wall surface extends at an angle to the axis of the nozzle (10) to impart a rotary motion to gases which pass through the swirler (26) in use. The wall surface opens out onto a side of the swirler (42) so the wall surface defines a recess (28, 40) extending inwardly from the side of the swirler (26). The swirler (26) may be provided with a short tube or ring (50) which surrounds the swirler (26) and has ends which are substantially flush with those of the swirler (26). The swirler (26) may be held within the tube or ring (50) by means of an interference fit.

METHODS FOR PRODUCING OZONE

A method for producing ozone is disclosed. The ozone is separated by an adsorbent separation system from a mixture of oxygen and ozone. The adsorbent separation system operates by adsorbing ozone at higher pressures, then desorbing the ozone at normal pressures. Increased ozone concentrations result from these steps while the oxygen component can be recovered and used in producing the mixture of oxygen and ozone.

oz

NOZZLE ARRANGEMENT FOR FLOWABLE SUBSTANCES

A nozzle device for dispensing flowable substances, having a support and a nozzle element arranged at least in part within this support, which element is suitable and intended for dispensing the flowable substance, and having a first coupler, in order to arrange the nozzle device detachably to a supply for the flowable substance. According to the invention, the nozzle device has a second coupler in order to fasten the nozzle device detachably to a further nozzle device.

oz

WASHER NOZZLE FOR VEHICLE

A washer nozzle for a vehicle is provided. The washer nozzle improves an ejection disorder due to external freezing of a washer ejection port that ejects washer fluid. The washer nozzle, removes ice and foreign substances frozen onto the surface of a washer ejection port by utilizing an ultrasonic vibration generated by an ultrasonic transducer disposed within an interior of the washer nozzle. The washer nozzle includes a nozzle cover with washer ejection ports and a nozzle body with washer fluid passages. The ultrasonic transducer is configured to generate an ultrasonic vibration disposed within the nozzle body. The ultrasonic transducer disposed beneath the lower portion of the washer ejection ports is configured to provide ultrasonic vibration toward the washer ejection ports.

AIR CAP AND NOZZLE ASSEMBLY FOR A SPRAY GUN, AND SPRAY GUN

An air cap for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, having at least one central opening, which is delimited by a mouth, and two horns, each having at least one inner and one outer horn air duct and one inner and one outer horn air opening. The spacing between the front end of the central opening and an axis which perpendicularly intersects the central axis of the central opening and runs through the centre of an inner horn air opening is between 0.6 mm and 2.6 mm. The spray pattern generated by the air cap has a longer core region and a steeper transition of the layer thickness between the external region and the core region, compared to conventional air caps leading to improvement in coating quality. A nozzle assembly and a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, can have an air cap having the above properties.

oz

FUEL INJECTOR FOR FUEL SPRAY NOZZLE

A fuel injector for a fuel spray nozzle of a gas turbine engine combustor includes an angular lip axially projecting into an upstream section of an annular passage to guide a fuel layer vortex to flow along a radially outer passage wall of the annular passage and to guide an air layer vortex to fill into and pass through an annular space between the fuel layer vortex and a radially-inner passage wall of the annular passage. The air layer vortex is free of mixing with the fuel layer vortex before the fuel layer vortex is discharged from the annular passage for fuel atomization.

oz

OZONE GENERATING SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

In an ozone generating system which performs intermittent operation, that is, an operation in an ozone generating operation period in which ozone is generated by discharging gas including oxygen at a discharge electrode part and an operation in an ozone generating operation standby period in which ozone is not generated by stopping discharge are alternately repeated, a gas circulating device which circulates gas in the ozone generating apparatus and removes at least nitric acid from the gas which is circulated is connected to the ozone generating apparatus.

METHOD FOR REDUCING COD OF WASTEWATER WITH IMPROVED UTILIZATION EFFICIENCY OF OZONE

Provided is a method for reducing COD of wastewater with improved utilization efficiency of ozone. The method achieves an objective by adding agents for removing hydroxyl radical scavengers produced by base-catalyzed ozone advanced oxidation to wastewater. The addition of calcium ion, barium ion, etc. to a base-catalyzed ozonation system makes the hydroxyl radical scavengers form precipitates, separated from water and lose the capability of scavenging hydroxyl radicals, thereby enhancing ozone utilization efficiency. Furthermore, calcium ion, barium ion, etc. form precipitates with partial organic acids yielded in the wastewater ozonation and are separated from water, hence diminishing ozone consumption and indirectly improving the ozone utilization efficiency in the wastewater treatment. The present invention can not only significantly enhance the reaction rate and utilization efficiency of ozone, saving reaction time and costs, but also enable complete mineralization of the organic compounds, significantly reducing COD and total phosphorus of wastewater.

oz

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING LIQUIDS BY MEANS OF OZONE

A method for treating contaminated liquids in a flow by ozone, wherein the ozone is fed in gas form into the flow at one point and then is mixed into the flow in stages by mixers following one another in the flow direction, so that an absolute quantity of introduced ozone increases after each mixer until a feed efficiency of more than 95 percent is reached.

oz

Fuel Nozzle Assembly Having a Premix Fuel Stabilizer

A fuel nozzle assembly includes a premix chamber, an air flow divider extending radially and axially within the premix chamber between an inner wall and an outer wall and a plurality of guide vanes disposed within the premix chamber. One or more of the guide vanes includes a fuel port in fluid communication with the flow divider. The fuel nozzle assembly further includes a premix plate that extends radially between the inner and outer walls and circumferentially between first and second side walls downstream from the fuel ports. The premix plate includes an upstream side axially spaced from a downstream side and a plurality of passages that provide for fluid flow from the premix chamber through the premix plate.
