A 60-year-old man died due to coronavirus in western Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar on Friday, becoming the first fatality in the district due to Covid-19, officials said.

The district recorded its first Covid-19 death after a 60-year-old man passed away on Friday. With 12 fresh cases, including the death, the district’s total positive cases now stands at 214.

There was no new Covid-19 case in the district for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday even as the state recorded another high volume of fresh cases.
