To better explore the application of unsupervised learning neural networks in psychological interventions for college students, this study investigates the relationships among latent psychological variables from the perspective of neural networks. Firstly, college students' psychological crisis and intervention systems are analysed, identifying several shortcomings in traditional psychological interventions, such as a lack of knowledge dissemination and imperfect management systems. Secondly, employing the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) approach, a structural equation model is constructed for unsupervised learning neural networks. Finally, this study further confirms the effectiveness of unsupervised learning neural networks in psychological interventions for college students. The results indicate that in psychological intervention for college students. Additionally, the weightings of the indicators at the criterion level are calculated to be 0.35, 0.27, 0.19, 0.11 and 0.1. Based on the results of HCI, an emergency response system for college students' psychological crises is established, and several intervention measures are proposed.

In order to improve the mental health level of college students, a data mining based mental health education strategy for college students is proposed. Firstly, analyse the characteristics of data mining and its potential value in mental health education. Secondly, after denoising the mental health data of college students using wavelet transform, data mining methods are used to identify the psychological crisis status of college students. Finally, based on the psychological crisis status of college students, measures for mental health education are proposed from the following aspects: building a psychological counselling platform, launching psychological health promotion activities, establishing a psychological support network, strengthening academic guidance and stress management. The example analysis results show that after the application of the strategy in this article, the psychological health scores of college students have been effectively improved, with an average score of 93.5 points.

This paper proposes a method for predicting college students' performance based on learning behaviour data mining. The method addresses the issue of limited sample size affecting prediction accuracy. It utilises the K-means clustering algorithm to mine learning behaviour data and employs a density-based approach to determine optimal clustering centres, which are then output as the results of the clustering process. These clustering results are used as input for an attention encoder-decoder model to extract features from the learning behaviour sequence, incorporating an attention mechanism, sequence feature generator, and decoder. The characteristics derived from the learning behaviour sequence are then used to establish a prediction model for college students' performance, employing support vector regression. Experimental results demonstrate that this method accurately predicts students' performance with a relative error of less than 4% by leveraging the results obtained from learning behaviour data mining.

Democrats in the House and Senate are introducing legislation Tuesday that would make pandemic-related food benefits for college students permanent. The push is being led by Senators Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders, a Vermont Independent,

In the December relief package, Congress increased the number of low-income college students eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (or SNAP) benefits for the duration of the pandemic. That included students who are eligible for work study, have an Expected Family Contribution of zero dollars, or qualify for a maximum Pell Grant on their federal financial aid form. According to The Century Foundation, this expansion affects about 3 million college students.

The legislation proposed Tuesday would make these changes permanent, including requiring the U.S. Education Department to notify students they may be eligible for SNAP when they fill out their student aid applications. The bill would also require the Department to collect data on hunger and food insecurity, and would create a $1 billion-a-year grant program for institutions to address hunger on campus.

"Far too many college students struggle to meet their basic needs while they get their education and the pandemic has made this problem even worse," Warren said in a statement to NPR. "As students take on a mountain of student loan debt, they shouldn't have to choose between paying tuition and eating."

The push comes amid new research that shows 39% of two-year college students are facing food insecurity; for students at 4-year schools the number affected is 29%, according to Temple University's Hope Center for College, Community and Justice.

Before the pandemic, in 2019, the U.S. Government Accountability Office issued a report on humger among college students, concluding that over a third of students don't always have enough to eat, and that federal systems already in place, including SNAP, could do a better job of helping them.

Many colleges have increased food benefits for their students, creating or expanding emergency grants, food pantries and other forms of assistance. State legislatures in several places including Virginia and Massachusetts have also moved to address issues of hunger on campus.

The arm was created by Enabling the Future, which has a chapter at Sienna College in Albany, New York. For its first project the Siena e-NABLE group made an Iron Man-themed hand for 5-year-old Jack Carder in Ohio.



In this case, nine-year-old Karissa Mitchell's (who was born without a right hand and most of her wrist) mother reached out to the group on campus, Siena College's director of marketing and communications said.

"She's watched the movie at least 100 times. We sing the songs all the time. We even have a karaoke machine that's 'Frozen'-themed," said Karissa's mother. The prosthetic was built using a 3-D printer and is comprised of 30 parts (it took near 30 hours to make).

To help Karissa achieve her dream of becoming a Disney princess, the team used "a pretty transparent ice blue color filament and added snowflakes to the forearm and her name with an Elsa crown on the cuff," said Alyx Gleason, the project lead and president of Siera e-NABLE. The arm also came with an Olaf LED light source.
