Obi Fire Grows to 7,420 Acres; Grand Canyon National Park Implements Temporary Road and Trail Closures on the North Rim

The Obi Fire is estimated at 7,420 acres. Growth today was primarily in the northern and eastern portions of the fire perimeter. Light southwesterly winds combined with dry, unstable air contributed to the fires growth.
