A new, biaryl phosphine-containing ligand, N2Phos, forms a 1 : 1 complex with Pd resulting in an active catalyst at the ppm level for Suzuki–Miyaura couplings in water, enabled by an aqueous micellar medium. Notably, aryl chlorides are shown to be amenable substrates.

Enhancing catalytic alkane hydroxylation by tuning the outer coordination sphere in a heme-containing metal–organic framework

Chem. Sci., 2020, Accepted Manuscript
DOI: 10.1039/D0SC01796E, Edge Article
Open Access
David Zhi Hong Zee, T. David Harris
Catalytic heme active sites of enzymes are sequestered by the protein superstructure and are regulated by precisely defined outer coordination spheres. Here, we emulate both of these protective functions in...

Patna: Schools to say ‘no’ to gatherings

Schools are not likely to be the same when they reopen after the lockdown ends. Most of them will not conduct morning assemblies, sports activities, cultural events, seminars and parent-teacher meets for several months in order to ensure social distancing norms.

Gaussian Measures in Hilbert Space: Construction and Properties

At the nexus of probability theory, geometry and statistics, a Gaussian measure is constructed on a Hilbert space in two ways: as a product measure and via a characteristic functional based on Minlos-Sazonov theorem. As such, it can be utilized for obtaining results for topological vector spaces. Gaussian Measures contains the proof for Fernique s theorem and its relation to exponential moments in Banach space. Furthermore, the fundamental Feldman-Hájek
