The object of the present invention is to provide a positive electrode active material usable for a lithium ion battery capable of high charge/discharge cycle performance and high discharge capacity. The positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery has a layered structure and comprises at least nickel, cobalt and manganese. Further, the positive electrode active material satisfies requirements (1) to (3) below: (1) a primary particle size of 0.1 μm to 1 μm, and a 50% cumulative particle size D50 of 1 μm to 10 μm, (2) a ratio (D90/D10) of volume-based 90% cumulative particle size D50 to volume-based 10% cumulative particle size D10 of 2 to 6, and (3) a lithium carbonate content in a residual alkali on particle surfaces of 0.1% by mass to 0.8% by mass as measured by neutralization titration.

A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel tank, a first detector, a control circuit, and a transmitter. The fuel tank stores fuel gas. The first detector detects information on a state in the fuel tank. The control circuit is configured to receive the information and to generate a signal based on the information. The transmitter includes a transmitter circuit and a response data transmitter circuit. The transmitter circuit is configured to transmit the information to a fuel supply station outside of the fuel cell vehicle according to the signal output from the control circuit. The response data transmitter circuit is configured to transmit response data corresponding to the signal. The control circuit includes a response data receiver circuit to acquire the response data transmitted from the response data transmitter circuit.

A battery electrolyte solution contains a lithium salt dissolved in a solvent phase comprising at least 10% by weight of methyl (2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl) carbonate. Composites of lithium-ion-conducting ceramic and polymeric materials make superior separators and electrolytes for use in lithium batteries. The ceramic material provides a high conductivity pathway for lithium-ions, enhancing the properties of the less conductive polymeric material. The polymeric material provides flexibility, binding, and space-filling properties, mitigating the tendency of rigid ceramic materials to break or delaminate. The interface between the polymer and ceramic can be made to have a low ionic resistance through the use of additives and coatings.

To increase the service life and reliability of the cell, the protective layer system includes a lithium ion-conducting layer, in particular an inorganic layer, on the anode side. The anode-side layer has an anode contact side which rests against or which may be placed against the anode. At least one lithium ion-conducting layer, in particular a polymer layer, which contains at least one agent which is reactable with metallic lithium to form an electrically insulating solid is situated on a side of the anode-side layer opposite from the anode contact side. The invention relates to a saw-tooth clothing for rollers of a carding machine or a carder. The saw-tooth clothing has a multiplicity of successively arranged teeth, wherein each tooth has a tooth front and a tooth back and a tooth tip. The tooth backs of the teeth have in each case a certain distance from the tooth front of the in each case following tooth and form a tooth space which extends from a tooth root to the tooth tips. Between the tooth tips and the tooth root, the teeth have in each case on their tooth back and on their tooth front at least one embossment which reduces the distance between the tooth back of the teeth and the tooth front of the in each case following tooth.

A device attaches a flexible clothing in the form of a clothing strip to a card flat bar of a revolving card flat. The card flat bar has a card flat foot with a clothing take-up surface and a web lying above the card flat foot. At least two clips are provided on the clothing strip. The device includes means to accommodate and hold the card flat bar and the clothing strip. The device furthermore includes press rams, which are guided in a moveable manner transversely to the longitudinal direction of the card flat bar and from both sides parallel to the clothing take-up surface of the card flat bar. By means of the movement of the press rams, an integral formation of the clips on the card flat foot is caused. The press rams have a drive with compression hoses.

The purpose of the invention is to reduce the abrasive impact of the fiber or the yarn on the rollers coated with elastic material, which are used for drafting and guiding purposes in yarn production techniques, and thus keep the operating conditions and yarn quality parameters constant. The fiber on the top rollers coated with elastic material especially in the mechanical ring compact yarn production among the yarn production techniques, is an apron cladding method, over the top roller and the bearing guide arms connected to a bearing body found on the bearing unit placed on the pressure arm, in a way that it would cover these together. The method includes the operation steps of stretching the aprons by application of tension via a tension component and, while the fiber drafting operation continues, the bearing unit carrying the aprons being shifted in the horizontal plane in certain intervals.

A wire profile comprises a rib portion and a plurality of teeth over the length of the rib portion. The teeth are sloped with a back slope representing the backbone of the teeth and a front slope representing the side in direct contact with fiber. The back slope has a tangent forming a hack angle with the rib portion, and the front slope is divided into at least two segments, a tip segment converging with the back slope to form a tip of the teeth and serving to penetrate between fibers, and an undercut segment to retain the fibers. A force measuring arrangement 21 is provided to detect the tensile force in the profile wire 9, said force measuring arrangement detecting the total force acting on the mounting arm (4), at least in longitudinal direction of the wire. In doing so, essentially all the forces acting on the profile wire (9) are detected, namely, the braking forces of a brake arrangement (25) as well as the braking forces of other arrangements such as, for example of alignment arrangements 28, tilting arrangements 32 or the like.

The invention relates to a clothing carrier (3) for flexible or semi-rigid clothings (2) for processing fiber material, wherein the clothing carrier (3) has a longitudinal direction (6) and a transverse direction (7). The transverse direction (6) corresponds to a working direction (A) of the clothing (2). The clothing carrier (3) exhibits a maximum tensile force (FL) in the longitudinal direction (6) which is greater than a maximum tensile force (FQ) in the transverse direction (7).

A detaching roller apparatus in a combing machine includes a detaching roller and a plurality of electric motors. The detaching roller has a first end and a second end. The electric motors are connected to the detaching roller at positions adjacent to at least one of the first and second ends of the detaching roller for driving the detaching roller reversibly. The electric motors are synchronized.

A fiber laying machine includes a laying head with a roller able to pivot about an axis of rotation and to apply a plurality of preimpregnated fibers to an application surface by rolling over the application surface. The fibers are distributed along a lower generatrix of the roller and in contact with an exterior surface of the roller over an angle of wrap. The roller includes a cylindrical body, pivoting rings around the body, and means for immobilizing the pivoting rings with respect to the body in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation. The pivoting rings are able to pivot independently of one another.

A working assembly (1) includes a rotatable hollow drum or cylinder (2) having a cylindrical wall (3) with ends having transverse header walls (4) with openings (16, 17), and with a longitudinal shaft (5). The external lateral surface of the cylindrical wall (3) has a clothing device intended to interact with the fibers being carded. A securing device for mechanical components that is comprised of the securing device is designed as a longitudinal plastic strip comprised of a first complementary tab and a second complementary tab. The first complementary tab and the second complementary tab interlock together and rest flush against one another in a manner that lines up the hole of the first complementary tab with the hole of the second complementary tab. The securing device may be surrounded by a cushion to improve the securing functionality of the device.

A hinge mechanism rotatably joins a post and a hinge in a manner that allows for rapid assembly and disassembly. A first stop, second stop, and third stop are used to create a gravity-assisted rotation system for the hinge mechanism, with the hinge rotating between a horizontal locked position, raised unlocked position, and rotated collapsed position. A pin is placed through corresponding pin receptacles of the post and the hinge in order to secure the two together. The pin is locked within the post by a locking member, which secures the pin in a manner that facilitates easy pin insertion and removal. The hinge mechanism can be integrated into a variety of apparatuses, such as a table with rotating top; the top can be rotated to the collapsed configuration in order to serve as a seat back or left in the locked configuration to be used as a table top.

An engine mount for a drive unit in a vehicle includes a bracket having first and second joining points for attachment of the bracket to the drive unit. A first mounting member connects the bracket to the drive unit in the first joining point along a first joining axis. An engine mount is arranged on a vehicle body and supports the drive unit via the bracket. A second mounting member connects the bracket to the drive unit in the second joining point along a second joining axis. The first and second joining axes extend at a slant to each other by an axis angle.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle positioning apparatus. An implementation may comprise a base provided with a recess, wherein each of two opposite sides of an upper edge of the recess are rotatably provided with a flap, and wherein a power unit may be provided on an outer side of a corresponding flap opposite to the recess. Further, the power unit may be adapted for driving the corresponding flap to transfer between a first supporting position and a second supporting position inclining downwardly, wherein the first supporting position is in a range from a position higher than the second supporting position to a position in a same plane as an upper surface of the base. Such vehicle positioning apparatus may achieve precise positioning of a whole vehicle, such as via the wheels of the vehicle, yielding high positioning accuracy, with simple structure, stable transmission, and low production cost.

A cellular cushion includes a base, a plurality of hollow cells, and support material. The base includes at least a first layer and a second layer. A wireless access control system may include a remote access wireless communications device and a lock assembly to be mounted on a door. The lock assembly may include a lock, a door position sensor, interior and exterior directional antennas, lock wireless communications circuitry, a touch sensor, and a lock controller. The lock controller may be configured to unlock the lock based upon the touch sensor, determine when the door is closed after being opened based upon the door position sensor, determine whether the remote access wireless device is in an interior or an exterior based upon the directional antennas, switch the lock to the locked position when the door is closed and when the remote access wireless device is in the interior, and not switch the lock to the locked position when the door is closed and when the remote access wireless device is in the exterior.

A wireless access control system may include a remote access wireless communications device and a lock assembly to be mounted on a door. The lock assembly may include a lock, a door position sensor, interior and exterior directional antennas, lock wireless communications circuitry, and a lock controller. The lock controller determine whether the lock is manually unlocked, determine when the door is closed after being opened based upon the door position sensor, and determine whether the remote access wireless device is in an interior or an exterior based upon the directional antennas. The lock controller may also switch the lock to the locked position when the door is closed and when the remote access wireless device is in the exterior, and not switch the lock to the locked position when the door is closed and when the remote access wireless device is in the interior.

The control module obtains a key signal and information about a user profile from the mobile device via the communication module. The user profile includes user settings for functions of the vehicle. The information about the user profile includes data about at least one subset of the user settings. The control module controls a locked state of the vehicle based on the key signal and controls at least one subset of the functions of the vehicle based on the information about the user profile.

A monitoring and alert system for retro-fitting to latching mechanisms. A master control unit is located proximate to an operator of the system. It includes a user interface having: an input enabling an operator to arm the system and then allow it to operate with minimal interaction of the operator. It also includes an output alerting the operator as to the status of the system in relation to a plurality of prescribed conditions. One or more slave units having sensing units detecting a latched and unlatched state are attached to a discrete latching mechanism for detecting the latching status thereof. A candle with shimmering properties has (i) wax; and (ii) light reflective particles dispersed throughout the wax, in the form of a candle base mixture, such that upon lighting the candle base mixture with a flame, at least a portion of the candle base mixture melts from a solid state to a liquid state, forming a pool of molten liquid in which the liquid moves. The light reflective particles highlight the movement of the liquid, such that the movement of the liquid is visible to an observer. A wick may be mounted within the candle base mixture and a container may contain the candle base mixture. A fragrance and/or dye are optional ingredients of the candle.

Embodiments of the inventive concept provide a double-sealed high-temperature resistant DC ignitor for use with a wood pellet burner assembly. The DC ignitor includes a non-heating element portion. The non-heating element portion is connected to at least one of a battery or an AC to DC electrical transformer attached to the wood pellet burner assembly. A heating element is connected to the non-heating element portion, and extends by at least one inch into a combustion region of the wood pellet burner assembly. The heating element portion is configured to be heated by power received from the battery or the AC to DC electrical transformer. The DC ignitor provides safe, reliable, and fast combustion of wood pellets that congregate in a combustion region of the wood pellet burner assembly.

Electro-mechanical and electronically controlled access devices are described for controlling access to a building, premises or area in a secure manner such that a subject who is deemed ineligible for access will be barred entry and may be optionally retained. The devices can contain multiple rotatable door panels, which can be positioned behind one another. The door panels can be controlled by mechanized arms or other control devices in order to control the passage through the device. The direction of flow through a device according to these embodiments is electronically controlled and may be changed at any point in time. At any instant in time, the flow through the device is unidirectional. Multiple devices can be stacked together to form clusters, which can be controlled according to traffic, time of day, or other factors.
