Method for mixing short staple and down cluster by a dry processing

A method for mixing short staple and down cluster by a dry processing utilizes an air tool to blow the short staple over, so that the scattered short staple is mixed in the down cluster. Stirring blades are further applied for stirring. Chemical agents are needless, no pollution is generated, and processing time is preferably reduced since the mixture does not have to be soaked in the chemical agent. Both the processing time and the manufacturing cost are decreased. Preferably, a proportion of the short staple to the down cluster is adjustable for different needs and divergent warmth retaining effects.

Method and device for the dry forming of a fiber web

A method and a device for the dry forming of a fiber web, in which a multiplicity of fibers or fiber mixtures are fed to a forming head by means of an air flow is described. The forming head produces a fiber stream which is introduced into a clearance of a forming zone between the forming head and a laydown belt. To obtain as uniform a construction of the fiber layer as possible during the laying down of the fibers, the fibers of the fiber stream run through the clearance within the forming zone with free sections of different lengths. To this end, the forming head and the laydown belt are held in a non-parallel arrangement, with the result that the clearance is formed by different spacings between the laydown belt and the forming outlet of the forming head.

Pre-burning, dry process methodology and systems for enhancing mettallurgical solid fuel properties

Measurements are taken of moisture, BTU/lb (British Thermal Units per pound), ash, forms of sulfur, volatile material, grindability, and absorption properties of any of a wide variety of mine-run solid fuels. Using that information, a dry electromagnetic process technology has been developed that can be controlled and monitored to selectively alter and enhance metallurgical solid fuel properties. Specific changes include altering the mechanical structure and chemical composition of solid fuels such as coal, coal coke or petroleum coke, increasing the BTU/lb to optimum levels, decreasing all forms of sulfur, and decreasing ash, while maintaining the BTU/lb of the fuels. A new family of solid fuel designer coals not found in nature can be produced via these methods and apparatus.

How unsafe is my apartment laundry room right now?

The one vector between me and total isolation is my apartment laundry room. Am I overestimating my risk?

I am in a better coronavirus situation than many. It's me and my three-year-old, and there is no other adult to fail to comply with the rules. I continue to get paid and am working from home. I do get occasional grocery delivery, but I do have enough stockpiled at this point that I don't have to do that very often and I could cut that out if I need to for the time being.

I am prone to anxiety, and in the past have fixated on small details as an outlet for this. For example, when my son was a baby I did a lot of reading about and see if sleeping situations and was extremely vigilant about his crib and its condition. My rational brain knows that the odds for such a thing to happen are remote. But it was something I could control and it gave me comfort to control it. I feel like this laundry situation might be the same thing.

I do feel nervous when we go outside but I'm careful to not touch anything and sanitize our hands as soon as we are outside. So I tell myself that's OK. But the laundry...there is no getting around it. It's a communal laundry room. It's making me crazy to the point I've contemplated moving.

To be fair, the last time I visited the laundry room was this morning. I went first thing in the morning and the only person I encountered was the super, and she was gloved and masked and in the process of cleaning the elevator buttons. I do think my building is taking the reasonable precautions. I guess I'm just not really clear on how big a vector this might be? Like, I could be terrifying myself over a strawman here?

So, talk me down from the ledge. We stay away from people, we wash our hands as soon as we come inside. Are we likely to have anything dire occur to us from our visit to the laundry room?
