To complete the task, the robot transmits a route reservation request to the navigation server, the route reservation request including a priority for the task, a timeslot, and a route. The navigation server grants the route reservation if the task priority is higher than the task priorities of conflicting route reservation requests from other robots. As the robot moves within the environment, the robot detects an object and attempts to classify the detected object as belonging to an object category. The robot retrieves an interaction profile for the object, and interacts with the object according to the retrieved interaction profile.

A discharge chute for a material reducing machine having a discharge opening includes a plurality of adjacent chute segments and a linkage system. The plurality of adjacent chute segments includes a rear chute segment, an intermediate chute segment and a front chute segment, each of which is pivotally connected to an adjacent chute segment. The linkage system includes a plurality of links that interconnect the adjacent chute segments, and an actuator that is adapted to cause the discharge chute to be steered to the left by pivoting the intermediate chute segment to the left with respect to the adjacent rear chute segment, and to cause the discharge chute to be steered to the right by pivoting the intermediate chute segment to the right with respect to the adjacent rear chute segment.

Wear indicator apparatus, system and method for conveyor transfer chutes

A wear indicator apparatus, system and method are provided for allowing wear information from an internal flow surface of a chute to be obtained from outside the chute so as not to require access to the interior thereof for wear inspection purposes. In one form, the wear indicator apparatus has a wear indicator portion that is configured to be fit into a through opening in the chute wall assembly. The wear indicator portion has a layer of wear material that is of the same material as an inner liner of the chute wall assembly, and a mounting portion that is configured to be removably fixed to an exterior surface of the wall assembly. Preferably, the wear indicator apparatus includes a removal mechanism connected to the mounting portion that is operated outside of the chute for retracting the wear indicator portion out from the wall assembly through opening.

Grain auger blow-out door

A grain auger having a discharge chute with a primary opening is also provided with at least one secondary opening and a door movable between opened and closed positions relative to the secondary opening. The door is normally closed by spring bias, but will open if the primary discharge opening becomes blocked, thereby releasing grain through the secondary opening, to prevent damage to the auger.

A system and method for causing a differential flow rate to exist in a downspout so as to reduce abrasion of a bottom side of said downspout and to sort dry bulk material flowing therethrough. The present invention reduces the velocity of the mass of the dry bulk material, such as corn, thus preserving grain quality and reducing the exit velocity at the lower end of the spout.
