The young girl has described how her holiday fling with a handsome Israeli footballer she knew as Sam, in the party resort of Ayia Napa, Cyprus, descended into the terror of gang rape.

The girl, imprisoned in a squalid Cypriot jail, was gang-raped by a group of young Israeli men while on holiday in the resort of Ayia Napa. She was held in Nicosia Central Prison for fives weeks.

The woman, 19, flew home in January after being handed a four-month suspended sentence over the events of July last year in an Aiya Napa hotel room.
