The blower is arranged to draw cooling air from the duct, through the modules, and out the outlet ports. The jumper duct is arranged up stream of the blower with the converter outlet port, and configured to reduce an effective cross sectional area of the converter outlet port to define a flow rate of the cooling air into the battery inlet port.

Elevator air pressure control device

It is an object to ease discomfort feeling caused by ear fullness for passengers of an elevator. An air pressure control device 104 controls an air pressure in an elevator car 102 using an air pressure adjusting device 105 such as a blower, an air compressor, etc. In the air pressure control device 104, a departure/arrival control unit 121 largely changes the air pressure in the elevator car 102 in the first period which is a time zone at the time of departing from a departure floor (or at the time of arriving at an arrival floor), and an except departure/arrival control unit 122 slightly changes the air pressure in the elevator car 102 in the subsequent second period (or in a time period until arrival). By this 2-step air pressure control, the passenger is prompted to clear the ear in a short time T1, the ear fullness is resolved by the ear clearing, and thereafter, the passenger can ascend/descend with the elevator car 102 comfortably until arriving at the arrival floor.

Chassis having an internal air plenum and an arrangement of multiple chassis to form a vertical air plenum

A chassis and rack system is disclosed in which a chassis separated into two separate enclosures by a central partition. Each of the enclosures is sized to receive a computer system. The partition includes a pair of vertically oriented vents, with each of the vents in fluid communication with one of the enclosures and the computer system contained therein. Heated air is removed from each computer system through the vent in the partition that is associated with the computer system. Multiple chassis may be placed one atop another in a vertical configuration in which each chassis is either directly above or directly below another chassis. In this vertical configuration, the vents form a vertically oriented common plenum that can be used to evacuate air from multiple chassis arranged in a rack.

An installation for cooling an electronic device includes an air conditioner having an air outlet for blowing cooling air to a room; a first detector adjacent to the air outlet of the air conditioner, for detecting a temperature of the cooling air; a rack accommodating the electronic device, the rack having an air inlet for receiving the cooling air from the air conditioner and an air outlet for exhausting air to the room; a second detector adjacent to the air inlet of the rack, for detecting a temperature of air received through the air inlet of the rack; and a controller for acquiring the temperatures detected by the first and the second detectors, and controlling a quantity of the cooling air blown from the air outlet of the air conditioner so as to decrease a difference between the temperatures detected by the first and the second detectors.

A rack server system includes a container, an electrically conductive component, a power supply, a signal connecting base, a server, and an RMC. The server, disposed in the container removably, includes a power input port and a connecting element. An air conditioning apparatus has, a first domed door comprising a first pivot and a first sealing surface, and a second domed door comprising a second pivot and a second sealing surface, wherein, said second pivot is positioned different from said second pivot. With the above structure, the radial gap between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface is varied when at least one of the two domed doors is moved. The vent opening is in fluid communication with a slot defined by the top surface of a roof deck and communicating through the roof deck. Spring clip type washers can attach the grill covers to the housings. Suspension brackets directly attached to outer side walls of the housing can support the housings. One suspension bracket can be mounted on a bottom wall of the housing and another suspension bracket of equal length can be mounted on a side wall of the housing that is oriented perpendicular to the bottom wall. Bent flanges on the suspension brackets can be on opposite ends of the respective brackets. A lens cover can cover a light box that holds light sources centrally located in the grill cover. The grill cover can include vent openings that allow incoming air to bypass the light sources that can be located inside of the light box.

Diffuser mounting flange

A mounting flange for attaching an HVAC air diffuser terminal in an opening in a floor or other mounting surface. The mounting flange includes a trim ring and a flange clip. The flange clip is adjustably and movably received in a slot defined a side of the trim ring. A pawl on the flange clip engages with ratchets defined in a surface of the trim ring adjacent to the slot to maintain the flange clip in selected position relative the underside of a floor. The air diffuser terminal is secured in the floor opening between gripping surfaces on the flange clip and the trim ring. Plasma light source

A High Frequency light source has a central body of fused quartz, with a central void, filled with a fill in the void of material excitable by High Frequency energy to form a light emitting plasma.
