Kraft Mac & Cheese has announced it is developing and testing the brand’s first-ever recyclable fiber-based microwavable cup. Upon testing completion, the brand will launch a new Kraft Mac & Cheese Shapes variety using the new cup and design later in 2021.

Beontag’s Grass Natural label is made of up to 40% grass fiber combined with FSC certified cellulose.

The new and improved AGELESS provides a timely packaging solution for customers navigating the PFAS regulatory landscape.

The new Lamb Weston retail packaging has an overall renewable feedstock content of at least 60%, which is certified from the polymers to the film.

As suppliers are looking to be more efficient in their end-to-end solutions, a key area of focus has been finding innovative ways to improve the palletizing process.

Erik Bronander brings life-long experience in packaging, including nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry experience to lead the team.

The complete EOL system is designed to eliminate bottlenecks and increase bar packaging efficiency.

Although the CIP process is very effective, streamlining its automation and simplifying the process for all of a facility’s tubular drag conveyors has been a priority for leading innovators in the industry.

Advances in sophistication, quality and ease of use have made x-ray machines an indispensable tool for food safety.

The USDCHF has moved higher in trading today and in the process moved above the swing highs from last week and swing area between 0.8772 to 0.8776. That area is now a close risk and bias-defining level. Staying above is more bullish.

The move above that area today has led to an increase in momentum with the price moving to and through the 50% midpoint of the move down from the Mqy 1 high. That level comes in at 0.87986 (near natural resistance at 0.8800).

The price is in trading above and below that level the last four or so hours of trading with a high price of 0.8804. Also in play on the topside is its 200-day moving average at 0.8817 and a swing area from 0.88187 to 0.88251. Get above those levels would open the door for more upside momentum.

So buyers and sellers are battling it out near the 50% midpoint and below the 200-day moving average. That is natural estranged can defined and limited risk against the technical levels. However, the price were to move above the 200-day moving average, the seller leaning now, should look to cover and push the price higher.

• Absent a breakdown, buyers remain in control, targeting new highs since July 31.

There is little in our lives that does not rely on software. That has been the reality for quite some time, and it will be even more true as self-driving cars and similar technologies become an even greater part of our lives. But as our reliance on software grows, so does the potential for disaster as software becomes increasingly complex.

In September 2017 The Atlantic magazine featured “The Coming Software Apocalypse,” an article by James Somers, that offers a fascinating and sobering look at how rampant code complexity has caused massive failures in critical software systems, like the 2014 incident that left the entire state of Washington without 911 emergency call-in services until the problem was traced to software running on a server in Colorado.

One of the people interviewed in that Atlantic article was Chris Newcombe, an expert in dealing with software complexity. Chris, an architect on the Oracle Bare Metal infrastructure as a service team,  is one of the panelists for the discussion you are about to hear. Chris is joined by Java Champion and microservices expert Chris Richardson, Java Champion Adam Bein, and Oracle ACE Director and Developer Champion Lucas Jellema. The conversation focuses on what developers can do to combat complexity.

The good news is that the US Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts 24% growth in software developer jobs through 2026. That’s well above average. The outlook for database administrators certainly isn’t bleak, but with projected job growth of 11% to 2026, that’s less than half the growth projected for developers. Job growth for system administrators, at 6% through 2016, is considered average by the BLS. So while the news is positive all around, developers certainly have an advantage. But there is another story behind those numbers. Powerful forces are driving change in long-established IT roles. The program, which started in 2018 with in-person sprints and moved virtual in 2020, uses a flexible Agile framework that spans a week of interactions, such as planning, training, ideation, coding, standups, demos, etc. What’s great about the program is that all sides learn — the customer’s developers get more direct experience coding in OCI, the customer’s executive management gets needed projects initiated that can be evolved to eventual deployment, and Oracle gets valuable engineering feedback that can help improve OCI.
