Atlanta – After 5,400 votes covering more than 100 products, the results are in for the inaugural “Best in Show” New Product Showcase Awards!

This year’s Monitoring Center Excellence Awards looked a bit different than usual. While the awards have historically been announced live at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) annually held in the summer, due to COVID-19 the in-person awards were canceled, along with ESX.

These products and services were selected by an independent panel of judges based on a set of criteria that considered innovation, end user experience, response to market need and more.

Whenever a natural disaster or tragedy strikes, many invoke the words of popular children’s television host Fred Rogers, told to him by his mother: “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” For these Monitoring Center Excellence Award Winners, the helpers are in the central station, helping all the time, even when they’re off the clock.

Salem, OR — Students from Silverton and Hermiston high schools took first-place prizes in this year’s Oregon OSHA media contest to promote young worker safety and health awareness.

Alocity was recognized with the Best New Product honor for its Alocity Access Control Platform product at the 2023 SIA New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards, held yesterday at ISC West. From the moment the Security Industry Association (SIA) opened the submission process for this year’s SIA New Products & Solutions (NPS) Awards, entries began rolling in, and more than 71 companies submitted their products for consideration. This afternoon, they’ll learn if their hard work paid off when the winners of the 2024 SIA NPS Awards are announced.
