A method for painting a component, in particular for painting a motor vehicle body component, with a decorative layer is provided. The decorative layer may be a decorative strip, a graphic element, a contrast surface or a pattern. The method includes applying a base coat layer, applying a decorative layer, which is within a decorative region with a limited surface area, to the component, and drying a limited drying region of the component, which drying region comprises at least part of the decorative region.

An ejector for jetting droplets of viscous media onto a substrate is disclosed. The ejector comprises a jetting nozzle having a nozzle space and a nozzle outlet, and an impacting device for impacting a volume of the viscous medium in the nozzle space such that droplets of viscous medium is jetted from the nozzle space through the nozzle outlet towards the substrate. The ejector also comprise a sensor arrangement arranged after the jetting nozzle in the jetting direction, wherein the sensor arrangement is adapted to detect a jetted droplet of viscous medium passing thereby.

There is disclosed a system for the electrostatic control of a metal wetting layer during deposition and a method of electrostatically controlling a metal wetting layer during deposition using a deposition system. In one example, control of the metal wetting layer is provided by changing or applying an electrostatic field acting on a deposited material or acting on a substrate on which a material is deposited. In another example, control is of the thickness of the metal wetting layer. In another example, control is of the presence or absence of the metal wetting layer. The metal wetting layer can be a liquid metal or liquid metal alloy, for example the metal wetting layer could be Boron, Aluminium, Indium, Gallium or Thallium. In another example, control is of the thickness, or presence, of a Gallium wetting layer during GaN film growth.

The disclosure relates to microwave cavity plasma reactor (MCPR) apparatus and associated tuning and process control methods that enable the microwave plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition (MPACVD) of a component such as diamond. Related methods enable the control of the microwave discharge position, size and shape, and enable efficient matching of the incident microwave power into the reactor prior to and during component deposition. Pre-deposition tuning processes provide a well matched reactor exhibiting a high plasma reactor coupling efficiency over a wide range of operating conditions, thus allowing operational input parameters to be modified during deposition while simultaneously maintaining the reactor in a well-matched state. Additional processes are directed to realtime process control during deposition, in particular based on identified independent process variables which can effectively control desired dependent process variables during deposition while still maintaining a well-matched power coupling reactor state.

A film-forming device and a film forming method are provided. The film-forming device is configured to form an organic material thin film at a target region of a substrate and includes a gas supplying mechanism and a gas injection mechanism. The gas supplying mechanism is configured to import a mixture gas of organic material steam and an inert gas into the gas injection mechanism. The gas injection mechanism is configured to inject the mixture gas from the gas supplying mechanism onto the target region of the substrate.

A method for producing a porous polyimide film comprises: forming a first un-burned composite film wherein the first film is formed on a substrate using a first varnish that contains (A1) a polyamide acid or a polyimide and (B1) fine particles at a volume ratio (A1):(B1) of from 19:81 to 45:65; forming a second un-burned composite film wherein the second film is formed on the first film using a second varnish that contains (A2) a polyamide acid or a polyimide and (B2) fine particles at a volume ratio (A2):(B2) of from 20:80 to 50:50 and has a lower fine particle content ratio than the first varnish; burning wherein an un-burned composite film composed of the first film and the second film is burned, thereby obtaining a polyimide-fine particle composite film; and a fine particle removal step wherein the fine particles are removed from the polyimide-fine particle composite film.

A method of preparing an electrochemical electrode which is partially or totally covered with a film that is obtained by spreading an aqueous solution comprising a water-soluble binder over the electrode and subsequently drying same. A light emitting diode (LED) module for a light fixture includes a substrate with an upper surface and a lower surface. Various pressure multiplying pads are integrally connected to the lower surface, and each pressure multiplying pad extends away from the lower surface. A light fixture includes a housing comprising a body portion with an opening at a first end, a power supply at an opposing second end, and a heat sink comprising a plurality of fins between the opening and the power supply. A mating surface is positioned proximate to the opening. The mating surface includes a set of landing pad areas and a set of open areas. The fixture also includes a set of light emitting diode (LED) modules, each of which is positioned in the opening and secured to a landing pad area of the mating surface. A light fixture includes one or more of light emitting diode (LED) modules. Each of the LED modules may include a substrate holding a plurality of LEDs, and a printed circuit board connected to the plurality of LEDs. A backlight module and a liquid crystal display device using the backlight module are provided. The backlight module comprises a backlight source, which includes a plate body provided with a light source lamp, and a reflector arranged on at least one longitudinal edge of the plate body. An inner wall of the reflector forms a reflective surface, which is arranged as extending obliquely away from the light source lamp. The backlight module enables light emitted from the light source lamp to enter the light guide plate to the largest extent, thereby removing the problems of light leakage and low light efficiency. Hence, in a liquid crystal display device using the backlight module, electric current can be reduced while brightness is maintained, thereby achieving the purpose of energy conservation.

An apparatus and method for assembling a display device to which is coupled a light guide that has smooth surfaces for light-transmission and at least one surface that is for light scattering and internal reflection. The method includes depositing a reflective coating on that surface, and installing the display device with coupled light guide in an interior of a meter housing or casing. A portion of the casing interior is filled with a component, such as epoxy, for sealing the case interior to protect the display device and light guide against water and dust penetration. All surfaces of the light guide are protected from direct contact with the epoxy. This approach greatly simplifies the assembly process and yields a robust display that also prevents light leakage from the light guide.

The optical coupler receives the emitted light through the input aperture from the light source. A display device is provided. The display device includes a housing, a backlight module, a shielding member, a cover, and a display panel. The housing includes a bottom sidewall, a top sidewall, and a platform disposed between the bottom sidewall and the top sidewall, and the housing further includes a bottom cavity surrounded by the bottom sidewall and a top cavity surrounded by the top sidewall. The backlight module is disposed in the bottom cavity. The shielding member is disposed on the platform and covering a portion of the backlight module. The cover is disposed on the housing. The present disclosure provides various systems and methods for indexing digital (electronic) documents and providing various error reporting and identification functions. The systems and methods may utilize various software, hardware, and firmware modules to identify notations, such as primary sheet names and reference sheet names on construction documents. Various algorithms and methods may be employed to identify errors, erroneous notations, missing sheets, missing details, and/or the like to aid in the correction of construction documents. Identified notations are indexed and may be used to create hyperlinked and/or backlinked notations in output files.

Systems and methods for consistent data generation across an enterprise involves explosion of seed data received in at least one of two or more databases present across the enterprise based on an identified reference data field in the received seed data and a pre-defined pattern. A lightweight map of key-value pairs is created wherein the key is data in the reference data field of at least one data record and the value is a pointer to a transformed value of either the data in the reference data field or at least one data field other than the reference data field, the transformed value being based on the pre-defined pattern. Based on the exploded seed data, the map is continually appended for further data explosion such that consistent data is generated across the enterprise.

Certain embodiments are directed to technological solutions for receiving a relational database statement comprising relational metadata mapped to a virtual multidimensional representation of a subject database, and generating a subject database statement based at least in part on the relational database statement and the virtual multidimensional representation, and configurable to operate on the subject database to produce a visualization result set, which embodiments advance the technical fields for addressing the problem of projecting a multidimensional data view of a subject database on to a relational data analysis environment to enable real time data analyses, as well as advancing peripheral technical fields.

In one example, a method for determining intermittent time series interval metadata includes detecting one or more time variables in a time series data set. The method further includes determining whether the one or more time variables are intermittently regular. The method further includes determining one or more respective time intervals for the one or more time variables. The method further includes determining the parameters of intermittency for the one or more time variables. The method further includes generating an output comprising information about the one or more time variables based on the one or more respective time intervals and the parameters of intermittency for the time variable.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for determining a similar document set to a target document from a plurality of documents. Each of the multiple documents and the target document may include a plurality of words, and each of words corresponds to a different integer. The method comprises: for each document among the plurality of documents and the target document, obtaining a set of integers associated with a document based on a set of words associated with the document, converting the set of integers associated with the document into a vector with a same dimension based on a predefined conversion rule; and determining the similar document set based on differences between the corresponding vectors for the multiple documents and the vector for the target document.

Rank aggregation based on a Markov model is disclosed. One example is a system including a query processor, at least two information retrievers, a Markov model, and an evaluator. The query processor receives a query via a processing system. Each of the at least two information retrievers retrieves a plurality of document categories responsive to the query, each of the plurality of document categories being at least partially ranked. The Markov model generates a Markov process based on the at least partial rankings of the respective plurality of document categories. The evaluator determines, via the processing system, an aggregate ranking for the plurality of document categories, the aggregate ranking based on a probability distribution of the Markov process.

The present disclosure relates to a method and electronic device for query recommendation, comprising: acquiring a history query statement inputted by a preset user; performing statement analysis on the history query statement to obtain statement information of the history query statement; determining data table entry information queried by the history query statement according to the statement information, determining a cluster label corresponding to the preset user according to the data table entry information; determining a recommended query object corresponding to the preset user according to cluster labels corresponding to a plurality of history query statements; and generating a recommended query statement corresponding to the recommend query object. The inputting efficiency of query statements is raised, and correspondingly, the efficiency of data query is also improved.

A search system includes a device controller that provisions a device to execute a copy of a selected mobile application. A crawler extracts content and metadata from states of the selected mobile application. A search input state classifier identifies search input states within the states based on a first set of heuristics, including recognition of user-visible search indicia and recognition of metadata that correlates with search functionality. A parameter identifier identifies, for each of the search input states, necessary input parameters. A search function data store stores a record for each identified search function. Each record includes a path to reach a corresponding search input state, an indication of required input parameters, and a mapping of the input parameters to user interface widgets. A query processing system uses the stored search functions to scrape content from the selected mobile application in response to a query.

A search system includes a device controller that provisions a device to execute a copy of a selected mobile application. A crawler extracts content and metadata from states of the selected mobile application. A search input state classifier identifies search input states within the states based on a first set of heuristics, including recognition of user-visible search indicia and recognition of metadata that correlates with search functionality. A parameter identifier identifies, for each of the search input states, necessary input parameters. A search function data store stores a record for each identified search function. A method for separating carbon dioxide from a gas stream, in particular from a flue gas stream, wherein, a gas stream is brought into contact with a washing medium in an absorber of a separation device and the carbon dioxide contained in the gas stream is separated; the charged washing medium is supplied to a desorber of the separation device to release the carbon dioxide; a vapor stream is removed from the desorber and is supplied to a cooling unit to form a condensate; degradation products, in particular nitrosamines, contained in at least a partial stream of the condensate are photolytically decomposed to decomposition products; at least the decomposition products, in particular nitrites and amines, are removed; and at least a partial stream of the condensate is returned to the desorber. A corresponding separation device separates carbon dioxide from a gas stream.

A device for separating carbon dioxide from a gas stream, in particular from a flue gas stream, includes an absorber for separating the carbon dioxide from the gas stream by means of a washing medium, a desorber which is fludically connected to the absorber to release the absorbed carbon dioxide from the washing medium, a gas cooler which is fludically connected upstream of the absorber to cool the gas stream, and a processing unit which is connected downstream of the gas cooler and which is equipped and designed to clean water from the gas cooler. Advantageously, the membrane is a ceramic membrane. An application is for the treatment of traces of pollutants in a liquid or gaseous fluid. For example, the removal of small pollutants as volatile organic compounds from an aqueous stream in industrial wastewater treatment or other water treatment applications, or the separation of aromatic compounds form an hydrocarbon feed in petrochemical applications. Another application is in the removal of water traces in products of high added value as pharmaceutical, cosmetic or biocarburant for example.

Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for degassing a supersaturated solution. An example degasser is described having a continuous body of gas-permeable tubing to remove an amount of a gas from the supersaturated solution below the gas's saturation point in the supersaturated solution. The degasser can be connected to at least one of a fraction collector or a detector. The example degasser is sized and/or positioned to cause a change in pressure (ΔP) across the degasser to drive removal of a dissolved gas from a supersaturated solution passing through the degasser. As a result of the reduction of gas, efficiencies in system flow and fraction collection are achieved.

A dust collection device (1) for removing fine particles from an atmosphere is provided with a filter (3), a blower (11), a dust removal device (7), and a pressure introduction device (9). The filter (3) removes fine particles from an atmosphere drawn into a filter chamber (5A). The blower (11) draws the atmosphere into the filter chamber (5A) and generates an air flow through the filter (3). The dust removal device (7) removes fine particles adhering to the filter (3).
