Techniques are presented for managing a deployment pipeline using an inheritable and extensible source code template—generally referred to as a live pipeline template (LPT). As described, live pipeline templates may be used to manage deployment pipelines which, in turn, are used to launch, maintain, and update the services and systems used to host and provide computing services.

A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request from a user at a local machine to access a project. One or more programming languages used in the project are identified. Resource availability at the local machine is analyzed. An integrated development environment (IDE) is selected for the project, based at least in part on the one or more programming languages and the resource availability of the local machine. The IDE is provisioned automatically, by a computer processor, for the user in response to the request to access the project.

A comparison system includes a memory including a first compiled version and a second compiled version of a target application, at least one processor, and a comparison engine, executing on the at least one processor. The comparison engine is configured to identify a method in the first compiled version, locate the method in the second compiled version, compare the method in the first compiled version to the method in the second compiled version, and providing an indication that the method is an altered method from the first compiled version to the second compiled version of the target application.

An approach that analyzes and manages unresolved (i.e., pending, outgoing) change-sets is provided. Specifically, this approach parses the change-set into a plurality (i.e., one or more) of changes having interdependencies within a java class file to determine the impact each change may have. More specifically, a change-set management tool provides this capability. The change-set management tool includes a parsing module configured to receive an outgoing change-set and to parse the change-set into a plurality of changes having interdependencies within a java class file. The change-set management tool further comprises an evaluation module configured to evaluate an impact that each of the plurality of changes within the change-set has on source code external to the change-set in the java class file based on the interdependencies.

Techniques are presented for managing a deployment pipeline using an inheritable and extensible source code template—generally referred to as a live pipeline template (LPT). As described, live pipeline templates may be used to manage deployment pipelines which, in turn, are used to launch, maintain, and update the services and systems used to host and provide computing services.

System and method for validating software development requirements are disclosed. The method comprises accessing a software development requirement, extracting a plurality of tokens from the software development requirement, tagging each of the plurality of tokens to a corresponding part of speech, and deriving a pattern based on the plurality of tokens and the plurality of corresponding parts of speech. The method further comprises determining at least one of a context and a business domain of the software development requirement and identifying pre-defined rules for the plurality of tokens and pre-defined patterns for the pattern. In response to a positive identification, the software development requirement are validated by analyzing the plurality of tokens against the pre-defined rules and by analyzing the pattern against the pre-defined patterns. In response to a negative identification, a learning process is initiated based on intelligence gathered from a manual validation of the software development requirement.

A system for development, deliver, deployment and operation of an application includes at least one memory including instructions on a computing device and at least one processor on the computing device. The processor is operably coupled to the at least one memory and is arranged and configured to execute the instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to implement an application within a platform associated with a namespace for the platform, where the platform is one platform of a plurality of platforms. The processor implements a descriptor having an identifier that uniquely associates the descriptor with the application, where the descriptor comprises a single file that is platform independent and that includes a plurality of namespaces and application-specific attributes for each of the namespaces to enable the application to operate on multiple different platforms using the same descriptor.

One or more metrics indicative of velocity attributes associated with development and deployment of an application program are obtained. The one or more velocity metrics are stored in an application run-time environment in association with the application program and one or more data sets output by the application program. A valuation is computed for the one or more data sets based on the one or more velocity metrics.

The disclosed computer-implemented method may include (1) providing a framework that includes (A) a user-space component that runs at a client site and (B) a kernel-space component that runs at a remote site, (2) identifying attributes of objects that reside at the remote site and whose addresses are unknown at the client site, (3) generating a script to test a function of a kernel running on the remote site based at least in part on the attributes, and (4) performing a remote unit testing of the function of the kernel by executing the script such that the user-space component (A) generates a message that identifies the attributes and (B) sends the message to the kernel-space component to facilitate (I) obtaining references to the objects by way of the attributes and (II) invoking the function by way of the references. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

The application code testing computing device may receive a set of instructions for testing one or more user interface pages of an application under test. The computing device may determine that the set of instructions is written in a first format, and parse the set of instructions to determine an action to perform and to determine data to use for the action to perform in response to determining that the set of instructions is written in the first format. Systems described herein may convert the determined action to perform to a second format to generate a converted action to perform and/or convert the determined data to use for the action to perform to the second format to generate converted data. The application code testing computing device may send, to an application framework, the converted action to perform and the converted data.

The method comprises receiving first input data including at least one type of first software development model and associated one or more first project data from a user. The method further comprises identifying one or more first software agents based on the at least one type of the first software development model. The method further comprises processing the one or more first project data using the identified one or more first software agents to identify one or more first intermediate data required for project factors estimation. The method further comprises calculating estimations of the project factors using the identified one or more first intermediate data.

An electronic device having a flexible display and a method for operating the same are provided. The method includes displaying a first graphic user interface (GUI) for character input on a flexible display and detecting a change in a bending state of the flexible display. Changing the first GUI to a second GUI based on the detected change of the bending state of the flexible display, and then displaying the second GUI. In some embodiments, the method may include determining a moved area among the first area and the second area and displaying the second GUI based on the determined moved area and the angle between the first area and the second area. Determining the moved area may include detecting a first pressure corresponding to the first area and a second pressure corresponding to the second area, and then determining the moved area based on the first and second pressures.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes an input device configured to accept a user's operation and a hardware processor. The hardware processor is configured to receive a virtual desktop image transmitted by the server apparatus, display the received virtual desktop image on a screen, transmit, in a case where a second operation other than a first operation is accepted while the virtual desktop image has been displayed, operation information indicative of the second operation to the server apparatus, and display on the screen an indicator forward of the virtual desktop image, in a case where the first operation is accepted while the virtual desktop image has been displayed, the indicator being provided to change setting of hardware of the electronic apparatus.

An output device or controller supporting voice activated commands by using a portable electronic device is herein disclosed and enabled. The output device may be a television, a controller connectable to a television, a printer, a sound output device, or a projector. The portable electronic device for wirelessly managing or driving the output device may include a microphone to receive voice activated commands. The output device includes wireless circuitry to establish a direct wireless connection (e.g., Bluetooth, etc.) with the portable electronic device, and subsequently, the output device, using the established direct wireless connection, is operable to: wirelessly receive first information from the portable electronic device; wirelessly send to the portable electronic device second information in response to receiving the first information; and wirelessly receive from the portable electronic device data related to voice activated commands from a user.

Embodiments of this disclosure relate to the field of multimedia technologies, and disclose a user interface control layout method and an electronic devices. The user interface control layout method includes the following steps: creating a relative layout container, where the relative layout container is used to contain child controls, and the child controls are a relative layout container or a normal control; specifying an attribute of a child control for the relative layout container; generating the child control; and if the child control is a relative layout container, repeating the foregoing steps, until all the child controls in the relative layout container are normal controls. In some embodiments of this disclosure, multiple UI controls of different sizes or types may be generated one by one through layout and arrangement, and the UI controls of different sizes or types may be nested with each other, and thereby UI interfaces based on different rules can be quickly implemented to meet different requirements of various products for UI control arrangement.

Memory conserving versioning of an electronic document is provided. Client versioning factors are analyzed by a client versioning engine and server versioning factors are analyzed by a server versioning engine for determining when an electronic document should be stored as a new version. Accordingly, new versions of an electronic document are only created when determined to be sufficiently important, thus reducing the amount of memory required for increased version payload.

Systems and methods for managing a collaborative environment are provided. A plurality of sheets is stored in a collaboration system. The collaboration system tracks user interactions with the plurality of sheets and generates a collaboration graph based on the interactions. The collaboration graph is analyzed to determine similarities between the sheets and/or the users. One or more visualizations are generated based on the collaboration graph and the determined similarities. In some embodiments, the collaboration system is able to provide project management information even for dynamic workflows that are not explicitly defined.

A method includes identifying an image associated with a user, where the image is identified as at least one of captured by a user device associated with the user, stored on the user device associated with the user, and stored in cloud storage associated with the user. The method also includes determining one or more labels for the image, where the one or more labels are based on at least one of metadata, a primary annotation, and a secondary annotation and the secondary annotation is generated by performing label expansion on at least one of the metadata and the primary annotation. The method also includes generating a mapping of the one or more labels to one or more confidence scores, wherein the one or more confidence scores indicate an extent to which the one or more labels apply to the image.

An electronic lock with power failure control circuit includes a lock mechanism having a latchbolt movable between extended and a retracted positions and an electrically powered lock actuator to lock and unlock the latchbolt. The power failure control circuit includes a microcontroller and the lock is connected to a primary power source and an auxiliary power source, preferably supercapacitors and charger that can be turned on by the microcontroller and off when the charger signals a full charge. An anti-theft mechanism for electronic devices includes an upper protecting frame and a lower protecting frame. The upper and lower protecting frames of the embodiment provide protection for the 3C products, and the first and second assembling space of the upper and lower protecting frames provide adjustable dimensions to be suitable for different sizes of 3C products. Furthermore, with the steel wire of the locking mechanism can be attached to a secured object to secure the upper and lower protecting frames.

An electronic key may include a partial capacitor comprising a capacitive metal plate in communication with a processor. The capacitive metal plate of the partial capacitor is configured to form a capacitor with a corresponding capacitive metal plate of a lock when brought into proximity with the metal plate of the lock. Data may be transferred from the key to the lock using a capacitor formed by combining the two metal plates, wherein a common ground is established between the metal plate of the key and the metal plate of the lock through a parasitic capacitance present between the key and lock circuitry.

A handheld cable cutter is provided with two handles, a stationary cutting blade, and a rotatable cutting blade pivotally connected to the stationary cutting blade. One of the handles is movable such that movement of the movable handle toward and away from the other, stationary handle drives the rotatable cutting blade toward the stationary cutting blade. Disclosed is a quick release lock for blades mountable to a motor driven rotary tool consisting of a tool mount for mounting to the mandrel of a motorized tool. The present invention concerns a handheld working tool comprising a motor part (10), a handle part (20) comprising a handle grip (21), and at least one first type antivibration element (30) arranged between said motor part (10) and said handle part (20), and which element (30) is adapted to isolate the handle part (20) from vibrations in the motor part (10). The working tool (1) is characterized in that it further comprises at least one second type antivibration element (40) arranged adjacent to the first type antivibration element (30). The at least one second type antivibration element (40) is adapted to, when in an active state, prevent vibrations in the motor part (10) from being transferred to the handle grip (21). The second antivibration element (40) is in the active state when the handle grip (21) is loaded during operation of the working tool (1). The working tool is further characterized in that a longitudinal axis (L1) of the second type antivibration element (40) is separated from a longitudinal axis (L2) of the first type antivibration element (30).

A rotary electric shaver generally includes a handle assembly including a housing, a motor disposed in the housing, a plurality of drive shafts operatively connected to the motor and extending at least in part exterior of the housing, and a head assembly mount separate from the plurality of drive shafts, wherein the head assembly mount has a longitudinal axis. A shaver head assembly is positionable on the handle assembly, and the shaver head assembly has a circumference and includes a plurality of inner cutters each operatively connectable to a respective one of the drive shafts for conjoint rotation therewith, and a plurality of outer cutters each corresponding to a respective one of the inner cutters. The shaver head assembly is configured for mounting on the head assembly mount such that the shaver head assembly is capable of pivoting movement relative to the handle housing about the entire circumference of the shaver head assembly.

A scalpel handle for holding a blade having a cutting edge includes a handle member and a blade shield for covering the blade cutting edge. The blade shield is connected to the handle member for pivotal movement relative thereto between a blade-covering condition and an out-of-the-way condition, and a movable shield latch mechanism is capable of releasably locking the blade shield in its blade-covering condition. A finger-operable actuator mechanism is mounted upon the handle member for movement between first and second conditions, and a spring is interposed between the actuator mechanism and the handle member. During a first phase of movement of the actuator mechanism from its first to its second condition, the shield latch mechanism unlocks the blade shield from its locked blade-covering condition, and during a second phase of movement, the blade shield is moved from its blade-covering condition to its out-of-the-way condition.

A safety scalpel that incorporates a reusable metal scalpel handle (500) similar in shape and feel to the conventional metal handle preferred by most surgeons, and a disposable blade cartridge (300) that covers the blade (100) before, during and after use, and is easily mounted and released from the scalpel handle. The blade cartridge includes a blade (100) with similar cutting profiles as standard surgical blades, a blade holder that is permanently fixed to the blade, and a blade guard (300) that covers the blade and within which the blade holder (200) is able to slide. A dual-line pump unit for supplying lubricant includes a reservoir having an interior for holding lubricant. A first pump is provided for pumping lubricant from the reservoir through a first main line to a lubricant distribution system. A second pump is provided for pumping lubricant from the reservoir through a second main line to the lubricant distribution system. During a first stage of operation, the first pump operates to pump lubricant from the reservoir through the first main line to the lubricant distribution system and the second pump is idle, the second main line venting back to the reservoir via the second pump. During a second stage of operation, the second pump operates to pump lubricant from the reservoir through the second main line to the lubricant distribution system and the first pump is idle, the first main line venting back to the reservoir via the first pump.

An exemplary system for delivering a turbomachine fluid to a supplied area is a pump configured to draw fluid from both a first container and a second container when operating in both a positive g-force environment and a negative g-force environment. The fluid from the first container in a positive g-force environment is a mixture of air and oil, and the fluid from the first container in a negative g-force environment is primarily oil.

A removable heel assembly, a shoe having a removable shoe assembly and kit containing a shoe body having a heel base and a plurality a assorted removable and interchangeable heels. Certain disclosed embodiments pertain to controlling temperature in a passenger compartment of a vehicle. For example, a temperature control system (TCS) can include an air channel configured to deliver airflow to the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The TCS can include a one thermal energy source and a heat transfer device connected to the air channel. A first fluid circuit can circulate coolant to the thermal energy source and a thermoelectric device (TED). A second fluid circuit can circulate coolant to the TED and the heat transfer device. A bypass circuit can connect the thermal energy source to the heat transfer device. An actuator can cause coolant to circulate selectively in either the bypass circuit or the first fluid circuit and the second fluid circuit. A control device can operate the actuator when it is determined that the thermal energy source is ready to provide heat to the airflow.
