Kajal Aggarwal has become the first South Indian actress to get her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in Singapore.

The move is said to have come from Jade Thirlwall after she complained that the band - also made up of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards - had 'earned their place'.

The figurine is a replica from the singer's 2014 music video to Anaconda, and took more than 20 craftspeople six months to complete. It was first unveiled back in 2015 but has hit headlines again.  

The singer's waxwork at London's Madame Tussaud's will not be taking centre stage as the figurine had been removed from the attraction and placed in the archives.

Mohiussunnath Chowdhury, 28, from Luton, was 'motivated by dreams of martyrdom for the cause of Islam, and inspired by preachers of hate,' a jury at Woolwich Crown Court was told.

Mahesh Babu and the late Sridevi too have wax statues at Madame Tussauds museums in different cities in the world.
