It was reported that the reruns of Ramayan fetched a staggering 1.4 million views within four days and the data is likely to go higher. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Tuesday morning that the lockdown would be extended till May 3. The central government issued an order further extending the lockdown for two weeks from May 4 due to the surge in Coronavirus cases in the country. In the press statement, the Union Home Minstry also profiled the red, orange and green zones in the country and issued fresh guidelines in terms of public transportation and other services available to the public during the period.

Social media was flooded with hilarious memes and witty jokes as India entered Lockdown 3.0 phase on Monday. With wine shops opening in red, orange and green zones, thousands of poeple thronged to the shops to stock up on alcohol.
