The actor will read the whole book from start to finish to raise money.

Andy Serkis has raised more than £280,000 for charity after completing a live, continuous reading of The Hobbit.

Andy Serkis, who plays Gollum in the "Lord of the Rings" films, announced that he will livestream a reading of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" on Friday.
