Sporadic protests continue at Amazon warehouses. The company has fired employees involved in walkouts or organizing in New York and Minnesota for what it says are violations of corporate policy.

The unnamed employee worked the night shift as a picker in Waukegan, Illinois. There have been previously reported deaths in Staten Island, NY and Hawthorne and Tracy, both California.

Amazon says many household items are out of stock due to increased demand as the coronavirus spreads across the US. The company is warning of slower shipping times.
