When manufacturing, these unassuming substances play a crucial role in bringing products together. From the aerospace and automotive industries to electronics and construction, industrial adhesives provide a reliable bond that withstands immense pressure and holds everything in place.

The present disclosure provides a method of providing an adhesive composition comprising the steps of combining crosslinkable composition including: a) a (meth)acryloyl monomer mixture with the b) photocrosslinking agent mixture, and irradiating with UVC radiation to polymerize and crosslink the composition.

The invention relates to a method for connecting a first tube to a second tube, the tubes being interconnected in an overlapping region by means of an adhesive that fills a gap in the overlapping region between the tubes. Said method is characterized in that: a) adhesive is applied to the overlapping region of at least one of the tubes and the adhesive is selected in such a way that it is solid at temperatures of below 30° C. after application to the overlapping region and prior to the connection of the tubes, and cannot be cured without thermal activation; b) the tube having the adhesive in the overlapping region is pushed onto or inside the other tube; c) the tubes are fixed in relation to one another in the overlapping region by a heatable clamp, said clamp being designed in such a way that it can heat the tubes in said region; d) the adhesive is thermally activated by heating the overlapping region with the aid of the heatable clamp, whereby the adhesive cures and connects the two tubes in the overlapping region; and e) the heatable clamp is removed once the adhesive has cured. The invention also relates to a method for producing a refrigerator and to a refrigerator comprising correspondingly joined tube sections.

The invention relates to the use of a hot-melt adhesive having high hardness for adhesive bonding of metal films or foils, paper films or foils, and/or plastic films or foils. The invention further relates to a method for adhesively bonding a metal film or foil, paper film or foil, and/or plastic film or foil onto a substrate.

A fluid activatable adhesive for a liner-free label and methods of using are described. Preferably, the adhesive composition includes a polymer, such as an emulsion polymer formed from monomers selected from the group consisting of butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS), a salt of AMPS, such as its sodium salt, styrene, and combinations thereof. The present invention relates to an optical clear resin and a method for producing a liquid optical clear photo-curable adhesive.

The disclosed composite wood particulate products, adhesives contained in such wood particulate products, and methods of making the adhesive and the wood particulate products employ an aldehyde-free adhesive, and more specifically a formaldehyde-free adhesive. The aldehyde-free adhesive includes an inert additive that extends a resin, such as an isocyanate resin, and forms an evenly dispersed, less expensive polymeric adhesive admixture. The extender-filler of the resin is mixed with water to form a slurry. The slurry can then be mixed with a resin, like the isocyanate resin, to form the adhesive. Various rheology modifiers can be added, if desired, to the extender-filler or the slurry. The adhesive can be blended with wood particles to form a mat that is then pressed into a composite wood particulate product.
